I've long since held the belief that maybe there is a cure for the common cold but it's not in the best interests of the pharmaceutical companies to ever have it put out there. They make way too much profit from all the treatments out there supposedly able to help you. I read an interesting article based on valid scientific experiment that proved that the myriad of cough mixtures do absolutely nothing.
