A draw would be good result, not just an OK one.

When was the last time we got 7 wins on the trot?

Time and time again we have proved there's not a single team in this league we need to fear. Citeh are no different.

As for our record up there? Well every record is there to be broken, isn't it.

If we were to play for a draw I'd be most disappointed.

I answered the question in the spirit of will I be dissapointed if we don't win and "only" get a draw. I will be happy with the point.

Others seem to be answering in the spirit of should we play for a draw or go for the win. Which is a more interesting question.

I imagine we will go with the low block rather than the high press. So less risky but possibly the better strategy given the opposition.
It's hypothetical anyway. Taking a draw now isn't actually an option at all - it maybe an outcome we would like, that's all.

I'd be delighted with a draw against Manchester Cetihad - keep our unbeaten run going as we enter the International break.

Yeah I didn't mean it like that... what I was trying to say is that the difference between zero and one points isn't enough to sacrifice the chance of getting 3.
Mr Solo, I see your point at 1 point is not worth the chance of getting 3. why we are not higher is because 1 is so much less than 3. Man city's thing is either winning or losing and mostly not bothering with draws. they have lost 50% more games than us but are 2 points higher.

However, mr 93 makes an important point. if by not shaking on the draw in some smokey backroom (which is the only way I see this "would you take a draw" conversation making any sense) we would risk one of our most dangerous rivals in the race for one of realistically 2 remaining CL being either 5 points ahead or 1 point behind. the risk of falling 5 points behind means I would be only see 1 CL spot being in reach.

so what I am clearly saying, is day drinking only makes sense when you have just been put on gardening leave!

but despite what I just said I voted "NO - you unbelievable cretin, we are a winning machine right now and we can DO them." because C'mon 7 in a row!!!!!!

In 7 Prem games at the Etihad, we've never won even a single point;

23/24 L 2-1
22/23 L 3-1
21/22 L 3-0
20/21 L 1-0
19/20 L 4-0
18/19 L 2-0
17/18 L 3-1

So, with it being the last game before a two week breather...would you?
If the pattern is anything to go by, we should draw 1-1

Is it IMMINENT?

I believe so, yes. Put it this way: I understand there is a prominent NSC DULLARD who is somewhat anxious that his planned romantic weekend in the city of love (not Manchester) with Lady Dullard could go horribly wrong if they announce the result while he's away

They're not the same City as in recent years and are definitely beatable at (their) home. I hope our team goes in with confidence, believing they can win.

I read an article this morning, in the Argus I think, saying we “could” go as high as fourth place with a win. I’m optimistic but can’t see us putting 12 past city which is what we would need to do.

Nah Arsenal will batter Chelsea 8-0.

We only need a standard no frills 4-0.

Yes, of course. I mean, a win is by no means out of the question, but despite their troubles this season a draw there would still be an excellent result.
