Nestling in green nowhere
For some time I have been conducting Observational work on our roads and have noted that Certain makes of car tend to by driven by people with simular habits, for example:

If you are being tailgated, flashed at or sitting in a massive jam because some prick is desperate to cut in at the front of the queue...Thatll be your BMW, although interestingly not blue ones.

Somebody driving so dangerously slowly and/or erratically that you just want to ram them off the road...That'll be your Nissan Micra.

The Person Forcing their way out at a junction...Peugeot 406/07

One sitting on the hard shoulder steaming: Alpha Romeo, Renault Laguna.

One Trying to Kill you by undertaking at speed and then cutting in front of you VW Golf GTI / Subaru Impreza

Has anyone lse noticed this Phenomena, and are there other examples I have missed?

I think that Audi drivers have now become similar to BMW drivers (assholes)

Not the slow one surely??

I've followed a few in my time that have been slow due to overloading and being generally clapped out (and just about to join the Hard shoulder gang), but you have a point there!

Havent the traffic police always associaterd certain drivers with certain types. Hence when I was younger there were certain cars you would be stopped in but the old Morris Oxford/Austin Cambridge was an old mans car and you could rive for evr with no insurance etc and never get stopped. Get a mini and you was a dead cert for a tug now it is young chaps in a BMW or Golf GTI.

I think you can go further in the breakdown of BMW drivers

Series 3 are the worst, series 5 slightly better and series 7 are fine.
Also, the older the BMW, the worse they are (L, M, N reg 3 series being complete tossers)

the Vauxhall Astra tends to attract urbane types who are also excellent drivers...
