God, this is bad news. Really, really bad news.

Japanese man tests positive for coronavirus again
https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20200315_13/

It's an outlier. Most experts I've read around this, think those that have this situation (theres been couple of others reported) were probably not negative, the test is not 100% reliable. Got a bit better and then has another flare up (with inaccurate test) is a lot more likely than was cured and caught it again.

(Not the first - but won't be the last)

You are literally going to worry yourself ill, the way you are going . Day upon day of endless shitting your grunders.
You think you’re “taking it seriously” but it’s your attitude and panic that causes the problems. Calm down.

The massive Tesco in Hove had no bottled water left yesterday evening. Water!? What do people think is happening?

The media and the public need to get a grip and start acting responsibly before they cause a riot.

Utterly ridiculous.

Weirdly some of the 'it's only a cold' posse on NSC are not at all young and have no good excuse for their poor judgement on this.

What does NSC stand for? North Stand Coronavirus or North Stand Covid?

Cause we ain't an Albion football forum right now.

Are there really still 'media frenzy' and 'just the flu' genuine advocates still left?
I haven't been to the running thread Bozza mentioned, but there are still a few people here who haven't accepted the reality.

I’m hoping they’ve sold out or condoms too so these panic buyers don’t produce any more idiots

I'm passing on interesting stories/data from creditable sources. No stockpiling, self-isolation, or panic from me.

I've been ahead of the curve on here in terms of, for example, predicting yesterday's game would be cancelled (dismissed as rubbish by some because "only 11 people in Sussex have it").

You, meanwhile, were passing Covid-19 off as common flu as recently as Wednesday, and are presumably licking touchscreens at McDonald's as I type. Well done, you!

He first tested positive on February 14. Was his negative test on March 2 guaranteed to be correct?

It's claimed he's become infected again within 2 weeks of becoming negative, but I'd think it's more likely he never got rid of the virus in the first place.

The NHS has been starved of funding for years and our ratio of ICU beds to people is a national disgrace. We are so far behind the likes of Germany and Italy it’s frightening. Transforming ‘production lines’ is something from WW2 that I never thought we’d see but it does sound like a complete load of Hancock fantasist nonsense, I’m hoping someone sense checked that for the man. How many of our factories can actually change to making ventilators from the thousands of other things they make in the time required?

Maybe they should also start recruiting the 10,000 nurses they have managed to 'misplace' in the last 4 years in parallel with making all this new equipment in the next few weeks ???

Let's hope so. But it also suggests anyone with coronvirus should stay in isolation for longer - which isn't great.

Of course, a sizable percentage of those diagnosed with coronvirus won't get it a second time - BECAUSE THEY'RE DEAD*.

(* An intentional over-reaction, for the record)

If there is an internet equivalent of an hysterical woman running around with her arms in the air and screaming blue murder, it’s you.

As for me, I’m taking it as seriously as it needs to be taken. I have twenty young people, all extremely vulnerable to the virus, in my care at work. We have adapted our already stringent hygiene practices to suit this threat. We ordered extra supplies weeks ago when this first broke. We know what we are doing and we have a solid plan in place. It’s working. And we know what steps to take if it stops working.
Professionals doing the right thing without the hysteria.

You’re citing articles about “people catching it twice” and declaring it really, really worrying without fact checking any of it.

You’re the problem in these type of situations.
In different times you’d have been slapped around the chops to snap you out of it.
To be fair, you’re not the only one on here doing so.

Very important questions. Sounds to me too soon after original positive for the negative to be correct

Cheers, so far so good. Steady as she goes. We press on. If it breaks out at work, that’s where I’ll be living for the next two weeks. Which would be frankly, miserable but we will do what we have to.

I think it was more your ‘God this is bad news, very very bad news’...take on your credible source. This info. has been out there a while, something like 0.2% of cases in China retested positive after an all clear. The information was fine, just your presentation of it perhaps a bit OTT.
