I think the fact he is on a free is what is making some on here question him. If we were signing a German international from Dortmund with Champions League experience, playing with some of the worlds best for £25million I think this thread would read a whole lot different.

My point exactly. We as fans do not even know the details of why he is free. He might of turned down a renewal due to game time or just genuinely wants a new challenge.
