He sounds like a Viz character:
“Mahmoud Dahoud, Syrian Dude.”

He sounds very Brighton. Sort out his shoulder issues, give him to RDZ and we get a younger Gundogan on a free apparently. That would be nice.

I was reading something about Gundogan this morning, and the funny thing was, when he joined City, there was a bit of talk that he was injury prone, a busted flush etc. That turned out alright.

Interesting, thx for posting :) ... but their Valuations infographic on the video, that has Caicedo at 55m and MacAllister at 42m..... not a chance in hell, that either go for anywhere near as low as those 2 figures.

This shoulder thing is a worry. A young Gundogan is very exciting though, one with a recurring injury not so much. Fingers crossed.

They snuck him in and out very well didn't they. I miss days of tracking planes over the Sussex skies
I'll never forget following that business jet that was supposed to contain wossisname.

Oh! the dramatic swoop past Biggin Hill! And then the disappointing descent into Luton!

Then it turned out to be his agent or something.

Good Times.

A short bit of info about Dahoud from Germany (I watch almost as much Bundesliga as Premier League). Injury-free and anything like his best form Dahoud will be a nailed-on starter for us each week. He seems an ideal Mac Allister replacement, a great passer and carrier of the ball who covers a lot of ground each game. In his last couple of seasons at Gladbach he was sensational (hence why Dortmund signed him). He’s been very unlucky with injuries during his time at Dortmund, though he has been fit but not very often selected since the World Cup, with Terzic preferring some combination of Ozcan, Can, Bellingham, and Brandt in his midfield. From my perspective, given this sounds like De Zerbi’s signing, I think he could be a huge success.

Here's an English-language article talking about him toward the end of his time at Gladbach: https://www.fourfourtwo.com/feature...-starlet-who-could-become-complete-midfielder

He's not been involved for a while. Wasn't in the world cup squad etc
He’s has only made two friendly appearances for Germany and doesn’t appear to have made their squad since September 2021.

He was injured so wouldn’t have made the German WC squad anyway regardless of the above.

Not just to soften the blow. Getting them in early means we won't be held to ransom by clubs knowing we've got 100 milion + in our pocket.

Plus it means the new boys have a full preseason to bed in.
Means nothing for signing Milner and dahoud on frees.

According to them....Southampton's rock bottom of the league, relegated squad has a higher transfer value than ours. That says everything you need to know about that website.
The website is actually a really good resource for player and club info. It's only the valuations that are nonsense. I'm happy to ignore this as I'm of the view that all player valuations are nebulous and subject to constant change. Pretty much everything you read anywhere is guesswork, or drip feeding from interested parties.
