According to the Argus his contract has been cancelled "so he can find another club". I assume the club has to pay up whatever length was left on his contract (until the end of the season?).

Is 12 seconds the shortest ever Albion career, cause lets face it apart from that start he has never contributed anything.

I don't care how shit he was in training (that's hardly a new thing - many top premiership lads are allegedly crap trainers) he should have been given a bit of a run in the first team, to see how he coped with proper match action.

This club is skint, yet we can waste money on 3 year contracts for players that are given 2 games to impress.

Utter bollocks.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
He was shit in training and shit for the reserves, but was more than happy to take the money.

Another £150,000 or so down the toilet.

Good ridance.

The club really needs to raise the level of pre-season friendlies. Everybody looks like a world-beater against Crawley and Worthing.

Of course you were there watching him train everyday and playing reserve games then?:jester:

Kazim-Richards scored in a pre-season away win at Colchester this season, look where they are now, and what happened to him. I'd have contributed more at Rotherham than he did, and I'm rubbish at football.

Friendlies are no guide to form, and the quality of the opposition is largely academic, IMHO.

McGhee has gone on record (several times) stating that Malongo was not up to playing in the English game. This he based on his performances in training and for the reserves. Lets face it, he can't have formed an opinion from anywhere else, cos he never gave the lad a bloody chance.

I watched him score on his debut at Reading, and he looked pretty useful to me.
Slightly dodgy first touch, but a real handful for those Reading defenders.

He scored, played well and yet was only ever given ONE more game.

Absolutely bloody ridiculous.

As I said earlier, training and reserve matches bear no resemblance to first team action, and he should have been given a decent run of games to see how he went on.

If he wasn't going to be given first team action, why THE HELL was he offered a three year contract from the off.

So going on loan to Lincoln for a season and Wrexham doesn't count? Both clubs couldn't wait to get shot of him.

No manager of 92 clubs have ever made duff signings or errors then?

Like Elder, he was considered a 'punt for the future'. His wages were very low, and he was here to try and improve his game. I'm surprised he's going to Grays Athletic. Apparently, he is studying to become a lawyer. I suppose he needs to carry on playing to finance the studies.

Never rated him myself.

Still, good luck to the fella.

He was given a chance at Carlisle this year and he was awful (Including a shot that went out for a throw in)

He was given a chance by Wrexham this year and managed to miss the goal from by 10 yards from 6 yards out.

Lincoln fans thought he was just as bad.

Face it. Molonga is the dictionary definition of donkey and i'm thankful we've got rid. The fact he has gone to Grays says it all.

No, I'm afraid it doesn't count for anything.

A young, foreign player signs for a club that apparently show some degree of commitment to him by offering a long contract.
They give him 2 games, in which he scores a goal.

They then piss him off to the reserves, slag him off publicly, then (just to completely destroy whatever confidence he has left) send him out on loan to some shit hole no-hope bunch of losers, telling him that if he impresses he may get a chance to come "home". Presumably so his "home" manager can start to destroy him again.
