First home game since winning the World Cup, fantastic gesture by the club on his return to training, would be fantastic if us supporters can also show our own appreciation for the World Cup winner? Ticker tape, flags, etc…

Or have we moved on…

As much as I agree with the sentiment, I think the moment has somewhat passed. He’s clearly felt the love from the fans, staff and players (he’s said as much in interviews), so I think it is time to focus on him hopefully delivering us a place in Europe as a parting gift in return.

How about give him a No10 shirt in the starting 11 and tell him to score 2 or 3 goals before half time, then he gets a 'Lomo' for dinner.

He won’t go in January, 100%.

But we should make the most of having a World Cup winner whilst we’ve got one.

I’m up for some sort of special tribute, even more so after his performance yesterday. Treat him like Messi and he may continue to play like him.

I mentioned this before and got shot down. Captain for the day would be good and lead the team out.
What if little Lesley or Leslie had booked the Capt mascot package with dreams of holding Dunk's hand whilst leading the lads out v Liverpool?

Shattered dreams and all that.
