Lynch denied transfer request

If what Dick Knight said in the fans forum is true that he would not stop a player from leaving then why stop Joel? This is a perfect senario why i do not believe Dick and the things he says - i thought Micky had been brought in because his man management was good

Jesus, you just cannot help yourself can you?

Question about Joel being refused a transfer request, and they are told no, and all of a sudden Dick is a liar and Micky does not have good man management skills. Will you ever stoop any lower?

You have absolutely no idea what discussions have been had, what has gone on behind the scenes, or any clue about what has happened about anything reagrding this situation. The fact that you 'read on here' that he has a falling out with Micky, does not make it gospel, nor does it make it that Micky is suddenly not good at man management. This story might have been released now, because they DO actually want to get rid of him, but they want to hold out for the best possible price. But no, that wouldn't be good enough for you would it?

I know I shouldn't rise to your shit, because essentially that's what it is, but you are just unbelievable at how you will turn every situation onto the Chairman.

We now have a number of players worth a decent fee - Lynch, Cox, Murray, Elphick - AND a decent squad.

Murray apart, I can see the merit in selling any of the other 3 if the manager feels the overall squad will benefit, much as I'd love Elphick to become our John Terry.

Don't rise to it mate, it's probably a user's second account just to wind people up with....

Please can you explain to me how then?

1) Player transfer request = Request that club places player on the transfer list; if agreed, club circulates (to other clubs) that he is available for transfer. Generally, it seems that the value of the asset (ie player) is decreased by being placed on the transfer list.
2) Player leaving club = employment ceases, as in any other job. Some possible scenarios are:
a) Contract expires and is not renewed - as with Guy Butters et al at the end of June.
b) Contract terminated; often for disiplinary reasons (ie gross misconduct) - the Plymouth goalkeeper who was involved in the fatal RTA on the M6 over the summer may come under this category (or 2d).
c) Player walks out. This is likely to result in legal action from BHA (ie breach of contract) who will probably retain his player registration until the action is settled.
d) Employee (ie player) and club agree terms for settlement of existing contract (as was presumably the case with Dean Wilkins), player then leaves club employment. Club does not retain the player's registration.
e) Third party (ie another football club) approaches BHA wishing to transfer the player to TPFC. If financial terms are agreed between BHA/TPFC and TPFC/player then the player registration will be transferred to TPFC and he will become their employee.

In conclusion, not being placed on the "transfer list" doesn't PREVENT a player leaving a football club.

We've got enough CB's at the club to cover if Joel leaves us, we are a selling club (we have to be at the moment to survive) so lets get the most we can for him and wish him well.

I have read on another thread on here that he has spoken to someone and told them that he has fallen out with Micky - just repeating what i have read

Thanks. Have not seen all the threads on here so have not seen that.

Would be suprised if true though. If Mickey has fallen out with a player I doubt he would still want him around. I can understand Lynch being unhappy but to be honest whoever was left out would be.

Where have I said that? I was simply asking BHAdeb a question. I had not heard anything about a falling out and was asking if she had a reason behind what she said.
I just think it is a little rich to ask a question in that way and then go on to say "here is what I think happened" despite it being no more substantiated or plausible than anything else.

Rubbish. Lynch is still only a good prospect and our record so far this season shows that Adams knows what he's doing. He's bought someone in with experience, something that last season we lacked when Butters wasn't in the side. Elphick is far and away better than Lynch and shoud be in the side so it's Lynch that has to wait his turn. If he's going to throw his toys out of the pram as he's not playing then we should get shot. Or he can just knuckle down, work hard in training and fight for his place, like most professionals do.

Elphick far and away better - are you sure? Can't pass, can't control the ball, not the quickest, just a rather limited orthadox centre half, but with bags of determination and grit. A better fighter he may be, but he's not a better player than Lynch. Lynch has real pace and an ability to carry the ball out of defence, a bit casual at times, but he is still a far better footballer than Elphick, more of an Alan Hansen type, with Elphick more in the style of John Terry. It's a shame that they don't get to play together more often as I think they would be a fab defensive partnership in the long term.

IMO yes Elphick the better defender, and certainly the one I would have in the team first. Lynch is too casual a lot of the time, yes he is quicker, although not by as much as you seem to think, but he misplaces passes a lot, and I'm not sure the team is set up for him to be waltzing upfield. He isn't THAT good to start with.

If Lynch could learn to concentrate for the entire game, and eradicate the casual attitude that seems to be there all the time then yes, I believe that he and Elphick would make a good partnership. At the moment though I would rather have Elphick and Hawkins.

It was KNIGHT at the press conference that catagorically said he will not keep players that do not want to be here, and the first player this season that says he doesnt want to be here, is not allowed to leave

Let him go, he has value in him, so sell him and use the money to buy some attacking options as we are well covered at the back with Elphick, Hawkins, Virgo, El Abd, Mayo, Pearson, Livermore, Whing and Richards
Wouldn't trust any player who was pleased at being out of the first team, Lynch will get his chance and I expect Colin Hawkins will hand in his transfer request in three weeks when he cant get his place back. Joel is a great young player and I would be gutted to see him go. Hope he grabs his chance at Orient if it comes his way.

All i have done is repeat what Dick Knight has said and what i have read on another thread on here - with regards to Micky all i meant was people on nsc have been critiscising other managers on here for fall outs with players
