Do they need a batting coach? The people who flopped in this game were the senior batsmen who really should know what they're doing The likes of Joyce, Goodwin, Yardy and Nash (to a certain extent) really should have done better in this game but credit to Luke Wells and Joe Gatting for giving it a go.

If you look at the number of batting points we took last year, it is an issue. Also 6 of the too 7 in this game have played some level of international cricket, so there is some talent there.

The coaching staff is dominated by bowlers and our bowlers seem to improve year on year, yet our batters do not.
