and now with no light meters purely the subjective opinion of the umpire as to whether it has improved or not!

Why have they gone for lunch?
We've only been playing for an hour. I can understand the set times for lunch for England matches for the caterers and hospitality but at a county match it can't really be that hard to play till 1:30.

Goodwin is an absolute legend for Sussex.

Legend or not, this season has been one too many for Goodwin.
It does not help that our inability to switch from one day mode to proper cricket mode when it comes to battign has been an issue.
I still maintain that Sussex need a specialist batting coach.
