At least these two showed a bit of resistance unlike the shower of shite coming in ahead of them. Should be over before tea I'd say

Well done Yardy for digging deep over the last two matches and rounding off his career on a positive note.

Once again, top order failure has killed us. Nash, Joyce, Wright, Machan survived a mere 84 balls for 36 runs on a day when we needed to survive 500+ balls and / or score 300+ runs. Piss poor.

Oops... Brown out... rooted to the spot, he can hardly believe what he has just done... making a sad and slow exit :nono:

Yardy/Brown partnership fell a bit short of target adding only a further 53 runs of the 221 needed after lunch

Revised schedule:

Brown/Zaidi partnership = adds an incredible 94 runs
8th wicket partnership = adds a feasible 33 runs
9th wicket partnership = adds a plausible 24 runs
10th wicket partnership = 17 runs unbroken

GOSBTS
Wow, you're an optimist!

Magoffin off in a hurry.

Eight down... two to go :nono:

On the brink... what a thoroughly disappointing whimper of an end to the season for Sussex :nono:

Yes.

Runs now out of the equation.

49 overs to go

Zaidi/Mags = a blocktastic 24.3 overs
9th wicket = a plausible 13.5 overs
10 wicket pair bat out remaining 10.4 overs

Expect a few close calls along the way but no reason why this can't be achieved.

To be honest I have to give your post a like, love your optimism. If we're 3-0 down vs Bolton tomorrow I hope you'll be predicting we'll win 4-3.

Oops 8th wicket has fallen
