Luton are so all over us - tackling and aggressive football - Chasing everything - We have absolutely no clue how to handle them at all. None of the play is on our terms.

We need a radical change of tactics - we need to take back control of the pace and stop them forcing us to overplay our forward passes.

It is not any one player … we can’t fcuking breathe at the moment….

Ideas on a postcard please ….

Absolute rubbish. 11 changes would be ideal at half time.
I don't think we need to worry about Liverpool wanting De Zerbi until he learns how to stop conceding.
Luton well deserved lead and I can see us losing this 4/5 - 0.
Not good enough.

Who’ll be our manager come August? Russell Martin my guess.

Imho RDZ won’t put up with a squad with glaring holes, he’s outgrown the Albion.

I would be fuming if he left sighting that, because that would stink of the club being tight and lazy in not being proactive in the window. Two v average keepers as of late and no Caicedo replacement. We have been getting worse in the league, definitely.

Credit to Luton, it’s the only positive thing I can find to say. They’ve played really well.

Let’s hope RDZ can at least get a performance out of the team for the second half.

Half time.

First of all, credit to Luton for playing to their strengths. They've absolutely done us so far.

We might get a goal, or maybe two, but three or more is surely too much to ask - unless this becomes the kind of game we'll be talking about in 10 or 20 years time.

By far the worst RDZ game for us so far. He's got it completely wrong, from the tactics, to the choice of keeper.

All of the team have been horrid. Mainly due to Luton's successful strategy.

Worst performance in a half for a very long time, again, credit to the opposition for forcing it.

If we get anything from this it will be a miracle.

Only saving grace could be that they won't be able to keep up that extremely hard press for the remainder of the 90 minutes.

Should have definitely chosen Bart tonight.

RDZ has got it all wrong tonight. He clearly didn't anticipate any of this.
Could have steel and Bart in goal and would still be 3 down as the team are still on thr beach in Dubai , that was the worst winter break ever ,

Pathetic. We get bullied by the “lesser” teams. When people hark back to the old days with rose tinted glasses, just remember we had a lot of games like this and it was shit. I’m going to bed or I’ll say something I regret.

The scoreline is obviously shocking but it’s another first half where we’ve not threatened going forward. I thought the club always paid a lot of attention to the underlying stats so you’d think they would be more concerned with the fact our attempts on goal along with XG have been low for a while.

What can any of usefully say to this shambles? I'm not in the camp that assumes we'd roll over Luton, not at all, but this isn't good enough. Do we not give a f***? Can't be arsed? It's really not a good look. Should have put the U21s out. At least then we'd have an excuse.

Buonanotte has put in one of the worst performances I’ve seen from a Brighton player in years in that half, Luton’s tight pitch and press has completely overwhelmed him seemingly, defensive line has been very poor too.

The difference in styles is doing for us - very direct and defending poorly = trouble. Frustrating watch as you just know we’re a better footballing side but that’s how the game works - more than one way and all that.
This has done us for a while tbh. In the road teams have started doing this more and more turn us around make us face our goal. The young side doesn’t seem to be able to match the intensity of the opposition when away in the league and with out any wide players it seems the system is a bit broken all the patterns of play appear to have vanished
