If you’re Palarse, you will have watched the last couple of match videos, and you’ll go at us very very hard, early, persistently, with maximum physicality. It’s f***ing obvious.
We lack any form of enforcer, physicality, foot-in, in our entire squad. Scrapping struggling opponents know this, and step up the physicality to make a genuine point of difference. Seriously, who, if anyone, is our enforcer? We really do not have one. No one. Sort it.
Emphatically correct, Dear Friendwere loose
I've always disagreed with it regardless of which club or which players are involved. Not club. Players. It’s something that’s been done many times before in the PL so why not. As a gesture of good will, given the small numbers of fans and the dire performance. As said, players could do themselves a favour in circumstances.
This says it all...I've always disagreed with it regardless of which club or which players are involved.
The contract between fan and club does not come down to "you pay £30 for an away ticket and I'll try as hard as I can".
They try because they're paid, albeit some of them might actually care on an emotional level. I don't doubt Dunk does and I'd love to see you question that to his face.
We pay and attend because we care. Getting my money back wouldn't have made me feel any better about any of the away defeats I've seen. I'd say making it that transactional would have made them feel much worse.
It wasn't that goodJust got home, f***ing hell that was crap.
OK then tactically inept from the manager. Set the team up wrong for the second game running. He doesn't know the old British game very well and we rapidly descend into a complete mess when a team comes at us like that.It wasn't that good
Least Baleba is trying - TV just spun to a gloomy looking Bloom.
I love the recruitment generally speaking. But you do need some PL ready players sometimes especially key positions. CM we are light in quality and numbers and it shows tonight.
We certainly can’t play the way we are wanting to without wingers.
Milner really ? Dahoud failed baleba young and needing experience De Zerbi wants ready to go quality not passed sell by date injury prone or inexperienceWhat you don’t think he’s been backed?
Nearly £100m spent on transfers this season plus two expensive free transfers and a massively expensive loan. He’s been hugely backed. To say otherwise is wrong.
Apart from the relegation bit, totally agree. If we ever win a trophy, then anywhere from 17th upwards is fine by me. Top half in any season is still a good year for us, let alone a season with the extra strain of European football. By all means aim for top 6 or 7 year after year but people should look at the resources 7 or 8 other clubs have for a reality check. We’re in a group that really ought to finish from 9th downwards.I really don’t have a problem with that. There is no point qualifying for Europe if you don’t try to win it. I would rather we concentrate on trying to win a trophy than the league. If we win a trophy then we get into Europe anyway.
To be honest i would not mind winning a trophy and being relegated that much. I just want to see us win a top level trophy at some point in my life. All those titles and promotions and relegations 20 years ago were great fun. If our aim becomes to be top 7 every year and play the reserves in the cups then what is the point? Yes we will make money but that isn’t exciting.
Disagree.Basically the team is not physically strong enough
we don’t have anyone Especially in midfield up for a battle
our defence got battered physically
does not matter what level of football you play if you get out fought you will lose
We're definitely missing Adingra and Mitoma on the wings, not getting deep inside their 18 yard box and Welbeck is too
I couldn't of put it better myself. If you’re Palarse, you will have watched the last couple of match videos, and you’ll go at us very very hard, early, persistently, with maximum physicality. It’s f***ing obvious.

agree - and they ruthlessly exploited the weakness shown up against Sheff. Utd. ie the huge chasm at left backOK then tactically inept from the manager. Set the team up wrong for the second game running. He doesn't know the old British game very well and we rapidly descend into a complete mess when a team comes at us like that.
