np mate.

we were talking the piss down the front and when L***s scored, he was leaping about as he said that he thought we were playing in yellow.

seems a bit daft now but it was very funny at the time
The old geezer who was sitting next to me STOOD UP AND APPLAUDED when the second Leeds goal was scored.

Very odd behaviour from a Huddersfield fan, I thought.

Strange that the away section had spaces then.
Leeds have just introduced more rules for their supporters wanting to apply for tickets at away matches. Leeds fans living in London and the South will get tickets in all parts of the home stands because they are registered on our ticket office database.

Strange that the away section had spaces then.

That was because around 100 odd Leeds fans decided to gather in a crowd near the away catering van for a reason that is beyond me for the first half. Looked like it might kick off as well.

Perhaps a steward from the away end could enlighten us all ?

Exactly, some would have bought tickets for another game at Withdean simply to get on it.

It's incredibly simple to circumvent the rules.

I would have thought there were many in the home end today who would not have even bothered to apply for the away end. It's a much much better view for a start.

its the bloke with glasses who stands ( I use the word ) almost all game and after 10 minutes will become extremely agitated with stewards who ask him to sit down.....he will then have a debate about away fans standing up and not give it up.

He actually is a decent bloke, but I feel very sorry for his little boy, especially today when he was having a decent time watching the football only to be called away by his Dad.

I have no idea why people question the stewards....its simple, just sit down. when asked

Yep I agree, I was sitting pretty close to you p the bloke was being a nob and deserved to be kicked out.

What did he think he would gain by doing what he did?

I found the fact that the Stewards spend the whole time dicking around trying to get a few "rowdy" Singing Standers to sit, yet it takes half the block gesticulating and shouting before the useless cretins even think of chucking out the Leeds fans - who jumped up and celebrated when the goal went in. f***ing waste of space.

Were the Leeds fans who celebrated likely to cause trouble ? If not , whats the point of trying to get them thrown out ?

It's simple - we sold out our tiny allocation and many many more wanted to see the game. So we got tickets in your stands.
I'm sure plenty of you have done the same at Elland Road.
Christ, we had THOUSANDS of fans in the Doncaster end at the Play Off Final - even though we'd sold 36,000 in our own half - it's the only way some of us can see some games.
And was there any trouble? Not an iota.

Not really, but the one behind me was jumping around chearing after their first goal, and then continued to do so after his mate told him to shut it, then started telling brighton fans to f*** off when they told him to shut up. Stewards came up and he was trying to fight them off, after calling numerous brighton fans C****. When your in relegation fight, and you have some :tosser: behind rubbing it in after going a goal down and dribbling all over you whilst shouting abuse at home fans in the home end, i think there is a reason to try and get them thrown out.
Had he of sat there and clapped, i doubt i would of cared, and wouldnt of had a problem with him sitting their!

because there not home supporters but their sitting in the home end!!
i couldnt believe that everyone standed around and just watch the guy who jumped up and celebrated, it was a joke! i was one of the only ones who seemed to be anoyed by this and i was the only one who said something at the start. he is likely to cause trouble in any other ground but probably not withdean as all the fans are boring but its still out of order...dirty northerners!:censored:

I don't actually have a massive problem with it as long as fights don't start (which is obviously why the rule is in place). I found the stewards response pretty slow considering they're such to the textbook arseholes the rest of the time. I also think that if you sit in the home end you need to sit on your hands and bite you tongue when you score - it's common sense, and to do otherwise is understandably pretty annoying to the home fans. If they'd sat there and watched the game without jumping up and rubbing it in when they scored, I wouldn't care.

perhaps if you'd sold more tickets to your own fans, we wouldn't have been sat in your stands.
I don't personally agree with cheering if you're sat with home fans, but when that guy got kicked out in section G, it was as animated as i'd seen the home support all afternoon. If you'd got behind your team rather than whinging at a few rogue fans infiltrating your stands, it would have made for a better game/atmosphere.

That is actually a very good point - I did find it odd the way everyone stood up and got really excited by the few Leeds fans. I suppose anythings better than watching Thicky and the gang.

What is the problem with away fans being in the home seats? I've done it plenty of times at other grounds.
There were about 8 Leeds fans around us in B block today and they were good lads and were welcomed by all around.
For Christ's sake, we let that useless midget Adams stand in the home dugout.

Because most football fans are too immature to actually be able to sit with supporters of other teams !!!! Quite why I don't know - stupidity ???

cheap shot at getting more home fans!
we have supported are team all season but it gets a bit hard to take at times and when you have scum jumping up when we go 1 nil down is going to make you angry and take you away from the game for a bit!
Leeds are the most discusting bits of scum....apart from palace!
