My FAVOURITE EVER Eastenders character.

I have had to stop myself from reading the rest of this thread in the fear of finding some spoilers, which I hate.

Drives me mad at how some people are so OBSESSED with knowing what's coming. What's the point?

I hate it in particular when I'm just browsing the newsagents or cornershop and out of the corner of my eye I can see the covers of numerous soap gossip mags with huge headlines RUINING cleverly crafted 'enders storylines for me.

I appreciate there's obviously a big market for it, but couldn't you keep the spoilers tucked away to be found by those who want to see them rather than revealing them to all and sundry?

When Archie Mitchell won the soap awards' "best bad guy" award I thought Lucas was clearly robbed. Archie was very stereotypically 'enders with his shifty eyes and calm tone of voice, with everyone saying "he'll get in your head" when in actuality he was never that convincing. Just a bit of a dick.

Lucas on the other hand is genuinely scary and unpredictable. And then to cover it up with his loopy god bothering just makes it all the more exciting for me.

Lucas Johnson is doing for Christianity what Raoul Moat did for the National Probation Service.

Loving his work. Although even without reading the tabloids I can see his days are surely numbered now. Will be a shame when he is gone form soapland.
