Everton.....the Crystal Palace of the 20s.As an aside, I read that the new stadium is now overbudget and they will need to secure more funding. What odds for this not being finished?
Apparently Dyche is hot favourite. Bring it on.

From the School of Science to the Old Barn of getting stuck in.Agreed The Ginger one is most likely, don't think he will save them...
I think Lampards biggest failing as a manager is choosing the clubs to accept job offers from. I think if he got that bit right he could be a successful manager.
How do people know these thingsPossible - his wife likes Cyprus.
are they a shambles ? only seemed like yesterday they had Ancelotti at the helm and James banging in the goalsOK - I'll bite.
How on earth do you come to that conclusion? He has achieved nothing as a manager. Clearly gets jobs because he was a good player. He's in the same category as Southgate, Gerrard, Kane. All of these guys benefit from a media love in and are free from criticism.
The narrative won't be what a poor job he has done, but what a shambles Everton are as a club. That's true, they are, but Lampard shouldn't be free from any blame. He will walk into another job as a championship head coach, ahead of far more qualified candidates.
Great player, terrible coach. Likeable guy, "one of the lads".
Don't see why not. Give him a deal till the end of the season, with a maHOOsive bonus built in if he keeps them up. Come the summer both parties can take stock and discuss a new deal, or part ways.Would Dyche go for the Everton job? They're in dire straits, dreadful squad, would he want two relegations on his CV? Saying that he's managed Tarkowski and McNeil, so maybe it would be for him.
'Get some good hard kicks in early doors, and then behave yourself and stay on the pitch' (in a growly voice). From the School of Science to the Old Barn of getting stuck in.
Only the suffocating stench of thermonuclear abject failure.Have Everton ACTUALLY released anything yet??
If they want to please (or at least no upset) the fans I don't see any other option than Duncan Ferguson.Dyche wouldn’t go down well with the Everton fans who unrealistically want survival and a decent football style from the current team.
Still, probably the best chance of staying up.
Both have.Isn’t it Everton and Arsenal who have never ever been relegated from the top flight ?
