general election NOW. Lets wipe out the Tories for 2-3 generations. They only serve the rich and do not govern for the benefits of the people of this country. They have cost our country billions, pushed millions into poverty and created a divided nation.

Lets take the power back

If only. We aren't going to get a GE. Truss might get slung out but they will limp on f*cking things up until the end of this Parliament. They can't afford to give us the choice of our next PM because the tories know they will get wiped out and, of course, the selfish f*ckwits want to keep their snouts in the trough for as long as possible.

The Piccaninnies thing is clearly being sarcastic about people whose skin is a different colour to my white caucasian skin.

The tank-topped bum boys one is clearly intended to be pejorative to the LGBTQ+ community - particularly male homosexuals.

Both were used, as I am sure you are aware, by Boris Johnso, and picked up and used frequently by Stewart Lee in his columns in the Observer, and perhaps elsewhere.

Unthinking dolts like Johnson use such things (frequently) and would dismiss them as "banter".

Other more sensible and thinking people would recognise them for what they are - racist/homophobic (delete where applicable) and offensive.

PS -and I don't care whether you are trolling and trying to wind people up or you are just as twisted as Johnson, I am happy to make my woke views clear.

But I have never, as Suella Braverman might presume - eaten Tofu.
My point was that somehow a discussion on whether Rayner was behaving in the correct manner to her responsible position was somehow skewed off to something totally leftfield and whataboutery.

Hendon Tory MP Matthew Offord has also called on Liz Truss to go.

He told the Evening Standard:

I can’t see the situation being sustainable. She does need to sit down and discuss it with her Cabinet and with others to manage some kind of dignified exit.

Truss isn't on it. So did she fail to vote for a confidence motion in her own government...or not?

Very odd state of affairs.

Tory MP for St Austell and Newquay Steve Double has joined calls for Liz Truss to go.

In a statement, he said:

The prime minister has lost control of the government and the confidence of Conservative MPs. For the good of the country, she needs to resign.

Tory MP Crispin Blunt has called for Jeremy Hunt to take over as the next prime minister, after describing Liz Truss’s position as “wholly untenable”.

Truss is the perfect example of someone whose ambition far outweighs both her ability and intellect. We've probably all come across someone similar in our own work environment. Apart from a handful of people driven by self-interest, who in the UK was speaking up for more fracking... oh, wait a minute! Frankly, if I was PM with a max 2 years in power, I'd tear up the Conservative Way handbook and deliver want people want. Starting with a windfall tax on the energy companies that even they agreed would be reasonable if proportionate.

Apparently, she got distracted by the Chief Whip shouting she was resigning after the three line whip was removed, replaced and then removed again, so was allowed to vote retrospectively.
Yes, I know!!

Brady has already moved the threshhold from 15% to 30% and now 33%. Would you bet against him changing it again once he gets to 33%? He seems to be doing what he can to keep the Trussterfuck in No 10.
The 15% normal rule is irrelevant. I know you've gone looking and not found it, but it's well known and universally accepted among the political press and Tory MPs that Truss is "immune" from the standard challenge rules for 12 months from when she was elected (in the same way that May was "immune" after winning her first challenge, and Boris was "immune" after winning his first challenge). Brady has a target (according to rumour, and the rumours vary on exactly what the target is) which, if reached, he will then make a decision on whether the rules should be changed in order to trigger some action against Truss.

He's not (as far as I can tell) flip-flopping around to protect Truss in the way you seem to think he is. You need to separate varying reports all based on rumour from being an actual sequence of changed decisions by Brady. Apart from anything else, the original rumour on the rules-change target was 50% - and subsequently revised down to 33%/30% (from memory, it's 119 MPs depending on how many MPs still have the whip).

The rules are there - published in the HoC library. I have linked them twice. I have read the rules. There is no immunity within the published rules for electing a Tory leader. If someone has decided to "invent" additional rules to suit the situation that is a different matter entirely.
If they played by the published rules, you wouldn't have to rely on rumours!

Liz Truss needs to be PM until 6th November to have lasted longer as PM than the election to make her PM took

only by those that want to lazily cast it as evil without thought. neoliberalism is about free trade, open markets, deregulation. facism is about centralised authority, oppression, protectionist and nationalism. one is economic freedoms, one is social controls. the tenents of facism block the tenents of neoliberalism.
The problem is fascists are very unlikely to raise their heads as before so to start with, we must distinguish between a fascist movement and a fascist state, from right-wing bourgeois parties to the murderous gangs that have been historically been sited.
Once we distinguish fascist movements from mere murderous gangs, seeing the upsurge of fascism essentially only as a weapon of the ruling classes in conditions of economic and social crisis, and loss of legitimacy of the system, becomes inadequate. such movements are patronized by the corporate-financial oligarchy as a weapon against the Left, especially in times of crisis
