A run of six unbeaten, wins against Liverpool, Spuds and The Leeds, followed by two absurd defeats . . . . and people have lost the will to live?

**** me. How did we ever win the war?

With a damn sight better shooting I'd imagine.

It was entirely predictable to me. The frustration factor has now overtaken the enjoyment factor. Lots of huffing and puffing but no end product. The encouragement to go forward, has meant players like Trossard and Maupay have got away with constantly overplaying and to some extent, have been indulged. They aren't the only ones. Bissouma and Lallana are just as guilty. This overplaying started to manifest itself a while back, inside the box, but was tolerated because fans just expected us to eventually click and start scoring goals. Instead, the inclination to take one touch too many or play one clever ball too many, has caught up with us. We have now completely lost our edge, in and around the box. It has been creeping up on us.
The loss of Lamptey and March, the two players most likely to get behind teams has cost us and now we are relying on Burn and Veltman to be our attacking threats down either flank. It is asking too much, however hard they try. They haven't got the class or the expertise. The loss of Webster reduces any aerial threat from set pieces as Burn and White pose no threat whatsoever. They can't even pick up headers in their own box! Everything we do in the final third is now, either desperate, ill timed or ill judged. We haven't got a cool head in there. We are becoming more desperate as each game goes by. The manager is doing little to change things in the hope that it will all come good but watching sub- standard performances being continually rewarded with another starting place, is doing Potter no favours.
We need to fight like blazes now and we have too many lightweight players that haven't got the physical presence to help grind out results. We are unbalanced as a squad, with a plethora of non goalscoring no.10's, all much of a muchness, whoever you play. We may have a pleasing style of play but too often the tempo is far too slow, allowing the opposition to regroup all the time. We wouldn't be doing any worse, sitting back more and counter-attacking. If you have small forwards who can't hold the ball, is there any point in all this precise build up play, as it invariably breaks down, at the crucial moment.
Not livid or laughing. Sadly, gone beyond that. Too little is changing at present too allow me to be anything other than expectant of relegation. I just can't see where another 10- 12 points are coming from.

I'm not livid, I'm not laughing. I just have a sense of stunned disbelief combined with frustration. Turning off the tv at the end of the game again, just wondering what the f'**k happened again.

But its happening too often now to be a surprise. Sadly, we are becoming very predictable.

Long way to go yet mate.

Agree if feels bleak right now, but still a ton of points to play for. And even Fulham get a result next, they have horrific fixtures coming up.

But I’m pretty mad at the team today, not going to lie.

Well, Everton away looked very tough for Fulham.

Neither, just in disbelief now because after Monday and now today I don't know what is going on, but to start Connelly ahead of Welbeck, unless Potter thinks he is incapable of making more than 45 minutes and was always going to bring on when West Brom were tired, was very wrong.

That's why I put the 'again' at the end. It's probably too late to edit it to 'again and again and again'. I'm tempted to go back to listening on the radio, watching the games are like some kind of reverse relaxation video. My toes are curled for so long that I'm worried they'll stay like it!
