Bit of both

Mostly though - just massively disappointed

This season was was a chance to sit comfortably in that area between the relegation and mid-table and wait until next season for the return of fans and a proper season

Between some utterly woeful footballers who look like they just don't care, others who are 'just passing through' and a manager who puts (some of) the same players out expecting a different result - we're in danger of screwing this up.

I'm mid 40's now and so have been going to games for just over 35 years - if we go down, so be it, have a clear out and start again. Being sh'thouse in the top division just ruins every weekend.

We're a national laughing stock at the moment and that lays at the feet of the players and the manager. Most of us will have carried Monday's loss all week but too many in this team at the moment wouldn't have given it another thought. Nor will they be bothered about today.

I'd like us to show the character to pull ourselves to safety - but I just can't see it.

I often think about Tony Adam's maxim 'You need 7'. I'm struggling to find that within our squad, let alone 11 on the pitch

Apologies if the above sounds melodramatic - I'm just really, really disappointed

Exactly. We are still playing really well. NSC is full of snowflakes and fake fans who only post negative abuse when we lose and go silent when we win.

I'm as disappointed and frustrated as anyone. But when someone says it is the final nail in the coffin then starts a thread about how shit we are, I'm torn between laughing maniacally, and metaphorically defenestrating them. Beng greedy, I may have a slice of both..

Anyway, football forums are all about spouting off so I may as well just have a bit of a laugh at the BEDWETTERS :lolol:

Right, there's another game on the telly soon, so I'm off

It's only football, just lost a family member, so honestly, all this anger and hatred being thrown around about 11 men kicking a ball has been put into perspective for me.

Sorry for your loss.

A run of six unbeaten, wins against Liverpool, Spuds and The Leeds, followed by two absurd defeats . . . . and people have lost the will to live?

**** me. How did we ever win the war? A couple of days without electricity and some NSC regulars would be topping themselves. Get a grip, FFS.

Talk about entitled

Because it’s 2 steps forward followed by 4 back.

Surely nobody should be happy clapping after we missed 2 penalties against a team below us.

I’m resigned to the probability of relegation
If we manage to stay up great but I just don’t think we will
We had our little run and now we seem back to normal.
Most of the players struggle at this level that’s the problem
I think
Can we get anything at Leicester and Southampton?
Possibly Will we?Probably not but here’s hoping

Just keep on going.

We'll pick up more points this season, obviously.

It's going to be tough, as we don't have a single player who can score. We'll have to rely on draws and 1-0's like we have done all season.

Sounds an awful lot like the final months of Hughton if I’m not mistaken?

For supporting the team and seeing the performances and not making one jerk reactions? Wow. Ok.:ffsparr:

You were asking Bozza to delete your account yesterday, now you are just having a pop at fans that a rightly unhappy.
You are a troll.

Feel pretty "meh" about it as just seems inevitable after Monday. Can't be bothered to be angry about it.

abject, woeful

are exactly the words I would use to describe a team that mustered zero shots on goal in 90 minutes and were utterly dominated by the opposition.

"Disappointment" is the word I would use to describe a team that had 15 attempts with 6 [40%] on target and 70% possession.

Perhaps, the best word to describe our season is "cursed" because "unlucky" does not stretch this far.

Its not JUST Maupays fault. Hes joint 20th scorer in the league at the moment. The same as Mane and Antonio, one more than Tammy Abraham , Cavani, Firminho, Mahrez. Our next highest scorer? Dunky on 3. Gross, Connolly, Solly, Tross on 2.

Beyond livid...won't be going near a blood pressure machine I could break it. This season we have excelled in creating first most woodwork Man U, losing after whistle gone Man U having more shots without scoring than an team in history plus the likes of penalties outside box Spurs Southampton. Missing our own pens, not beating 10 men bottom of the table teams, not scoring against at team with 2nd highest goals against in Europe, losing to a team with 2 touches in our box in the whole game etc etc.

Must calm down or I may have to break the covid rules and head to Croydon to batter a Caravan dweller.

No. I am not having a go at fans who are unhappy. I am calling bullshit on "fans" saying we made west Brom look like world beaters and saying that was the worst performance ever and such. Being unhappy is ok, saying utter nonsense just to have a go at the squad and manager is abusive and needs to be called out.
Be unhappy, be worried, just don't make shit up to gain internet points.

Ok fair enough.
