Vardy offering conclusive proof there that footballers really are thick.

We've just won 9 out of 9 competitive games and you suggest England play 'not to lose.' That's not even an opinion - the facts prove you wrong. You sound like a Man Utd fan from Surrey 'yes we've won the league again but we're boring to watch.' Unreal.

Couldn't agree more. What if everyone on here turned their backs on Brighton because we weren't playing well? Oh wait we do, that's why half the muppets in the Amex sing Bobby Zamora's name to some generic Soccer AM crap because they didnt know who he was until this Summer.

Easy group but that is still an impressive effort from England. Now, time to bottle it when it really matters! ;)

Goal apart Oxlade-Chamberlain has been distinctly average to say the least. The rest have been thoroughly professional though and how many times can you say that about an England team?

Probably the worst I've seen The Ox play, but the pitch didn't really suit his running game. Vardy looked poor as well. I thought Shelvey looked decent, especially in the first half

Barkley was immense. ALL and JJS also looked great on the ball. All 3 of them have it away a bit cheaply at times but that's because they were trying creative things and kept the tempo high. Great performance from us - Lithuania wereade to look like San Marino & didn't get one proper chance that I saw...

To be fair, they did only beat San Marino recently through a last minute goal. I thought we did enough without being great

Ross Barkley continues to sparkle and infuriate in equal measure. He has the potential to be our most talented midfielder since Paul Gascoigne, yet some of his decision making is absolutely appalling. I hope he gets to start in the upcoming friendlies against proper opposition. Also, I'd be happy from an England point of view if he'd move to a Champions League club - he needs exposure to the world's very best players if he is going to improve that side of his game.

He needs games, not bench time. Woy sees that, which is why he played last night. Moving to Chelsea or Man City would be a disaster for his development

Best England game I have ever watched - this was because there was no England Band starting up every 2 minutes with some hideous noise.

Hopefully they have all had their instruments confiscated and melted down.

If we looked at any other group and a team had 30 points and only conceeded 3, we would be VERY impressed.

Clearly we have a good team. People hate to admit it, weirdly.

I tip France to win it. They have a really exciting team and home advantage.

Doesn't have to be either of them though. Man Utd are probably his best fit, or maybe a move abroad.
