It's not about the artists who are signed, most of them are incredibly marketable. As a result of piracy very few labels are signing acts nowadays who are a bit different. Hence why everything in the industry sounds the same.

There are loads of labels out there signing acts which are "a bit different." I cannot see your argument there are less "different" bands. All I can see is all bands making less money from record sales.

I have a `friend` that used to use `Limewire` before it was closed down. I of-course was disgusted by this illegal behaviour, how some people can take advantage of those multi-millionaire artists that have had to sing their socks off, sometimes for over three minutes, sickens me. Does anybody know of any similar sites that music can be downloaded safely and for free, then I will check his computer to see if he is using any of them and of -course, report him to the relevant authorities immediately. Thanks.
