"demonising asylum seekers".......No, it is demonising THREE men that are in this country, have sexually assaulted three TEENAGE girls...and now, now, want to claim asylum. So not "demonising asylum seekers" in general as your post suggests/insinuates.

yeah yeah, and you and your islamaphobic mates only hate and fear the extremists. Keep saying it and someone might believe you. This thread will end up the same as all the others with links to Rotherham, a few dogedy videos showing isolated incidents that you will all claim represent the real situation and a whole load of other shonky 'evidence' of the 'drip drip' of the islamification of the UK. You will all stoke each other hardon for Islam and engage in your usual wankfest of hate until you have splurged your seeds and convinced yourselves you are right and that you can speak for everybody. Anyone who disagrees with your claptrap and shows your frightened conspiracies for what they are will be ganged up on, personally attacked and accused of all sorts of ill mannered internet baffoonery so you can derail, defend and disguise your ill conceived conspiracy theories and present them as truth, All the while polarising the discussion and dragging decent well meaning, concerned posters into your cesspit of hate as you go.

You are 12,000 miles away having left the UK to live in a country less tolerant of immigrants than the the UK. You opinion is tainted to say the very least. Or are you a bit like Nicola Sturgeon, saying she would accept an immigrant into her home, but backing down when faced with the reality?

here we go. Islamaphobe halfwit bingo.

"you don't even live here" tick

Soulman said this wasn't about immigrants per se and only about the three mentioned. Don't go off topic and make a liar out of him.

But can you not see the irony of slating those living in the UK, who have highlighted a FACTUAL event which may impact on cultural harmony in their home country, as racists whilst you live on the other side of the Earth in a country which is less welcoming to immigrants.

Bread buttered on both sides........have cake and eat it.........you really must be a bit daft to not see how flawed your argument is.

Blimey, you normally have this type of rant after a few scoops. So how will what happens and the outcomes affect you. If in your wisdom you are correct and we have nothing to worry about...it will not affect you, if on the other hand fears are correct....then this will also not affect you.
Got to laugh your quote " into your cesspit of hate as you go" and " usual wankfest of hate "...take a look at your post, read it again, seems you are the one doing the insulting, or can you not see that.

"you have splurged your seeds"..... :lolol::lolol:..... sorry my opinions do not match yours, be a sad world if we all had the same.

Islamaphobe? Not a million miles from racist is it?

You really are quite odd as your writings (I won't use the word 'views' as that implies some level headed understanding) are both angry and at the same time seemingly wanting to promote peace. I can only suggest the somewhat nervous 'tick' is distracting you. Goodnight.

So not only are you commenting on events that are happening over 15000 miles from you, you manage to derail them too. Do you "speak for everybody"

http://my.telegraph.co.uk/saifrahman/saifrahman/4/when-does-criticism-of-islam-become-islamaphobia/

I’ll begin by explaining why I have a problem with the term ‘Islamophobia’.

Islamophobia is a neologism – a recent word invented to protect the ideology and its adherents from criticism, a kind of social blasphemy law. The word itself is an etymological fallacy, dictionary definitions define phobias are an ‘unnatural fear of someone or something’ so beliefs and ideas do not even come within its scope.

It is also unhelpful, because if left unchecked it;
blurs acceptable boundaries and culls debate
treats all criticism of Islam with equal disdain
equates Islamophobia with racism
gives a free ride to exponents of Islamism, magnifying their voices whilst countering narratives are hushed
inhibits free speech which often acts as a catalyst for positive change.
It was only after criticism of Christianity that we reached Enlightenment in the West, only after contentious philosophers & scientists like Locke, Darwin and Kant finally had their voices heard.

All ideas and beliefs should be open to question and criticism. Exceptionalism, or singling out anything in particular with protectionist kid-gloves is not only condescending, but arguably a form of reverse-racism which only serves to alienate such groups even further.

Not wanting to intrude on obviously long standing issues .... but is this Islamophobia name calling entirely helpful ?

I take your point and would agree that it isn't very helpful, sometimes though you just have to say things as you see them.

Although with regarding its accuracy according to definition I would suggest that ideas, beliefs and Islam (religions certainly) can be considered things so it does fall within the parameters of fear of 'something'.

Well I'm all for a passionate expression of free speech especially when using such a delightful turn of phrase. :D

Good post.

The tossers are using our legal aid system to fight their case for Asylum, paid by you, me and all the other suckers.
Apparently it doesn't matter what someone has done previous, as long as they can prove their life is in danger there is a chance they can claim Asylum in the UK, so here we go again.

Of course it's wrong and if they are granted asylum over someone who actually deserves it that will be even wronger.

Doesn't stop this story and this thread demonising asylum seekers, stoking up the fear and furthering the agenda for the islamaphobes though.

Since the discussion is about three soldiers, it would seem that there is only one person here with an agenda, as ever.
