It would appear that the home office and every right minded individual agrees with you, but that's not really a story is it:-

The Home Office, which does not comment on individual cases, said: "Those who break our laws should be removed from the country at the earliest opportunity and we will seek to remove any foreign national offender who receives a custodial sentence for a criminal offence."

No, the real truth is,that like certain other posters you made incorrect assumptions before you read the original story , if not , why try to insinuate the thread would send people to sleep , do you find the thought of convicted foreign sex offenders being allowed to stay here inconsequential ??

Point taken chaps it was a knee JERK reaction (for which I apologise for the tone) because I'm just getting sick and tired of the same rumormongering, innuendo, and down right lies perpetuated by those with a vested interest in keeping the fear alive.

As an early poster on here said, 'yay yet another thread about asylum seekers'.

It's just the same story over and over we all know who's going to say what, and they nearly always pick out the worst case scenario.

This ticks all the boxes, I'm sure the authorities will do the right thing, but it'll still keep the little englanders narrative ticking along.

There is NOTHING little Englander about this whatsoever.

They were here training, they sexually assaulted 3 teenage girls, they were incarcerated and now on release want to claim asylum.

That is wrong, so very very wrong surely anyone can see it.

"demonising asylum seekers".......No, it is demonising THREE men that are in this country, have sexually assaulted three TEENAGE girls...and now, now, want to claim asylum. So not "demonising asylum seekers" in general as your post suggests/insinuates.

You are 12,000 miles away having left the UK to live in a country less tolerant of immigrants than the the UK. You opinion is tainted to say the very least. Or are you a bit like Nicola Sturgeon, saying she would accept an immigrant into her home, but backing down when faced with the reality?
