Yay! Yet another thread about asylum seekers. Just what's needed.

It's an interesting linguistic problem, as are many other BBC headlines.

Are Libyans sexually assaulting asylum-seeking soldiers?

Not read the article, but I think this may well be my stock answer to The Daily Mail & NSC's scared racists

perhaps you should before labelling people who are unhappy at convicted sex offenders being granted asylum here as "scared racists" .

Racist is the blanket they throw over everyone who dares to have an alternative view to them. Nasty people.

The answer is simple, no appeal and then on a plane back home. They abused the trust of our government and people of this country, so goodbye.

Point taken chaps it was a knee JERK reaction (for which I apologise for the tone) because I'm just getting sick and tired of the same rumormongering, innuendo, and down right lies perpetuated by those with a vested interest in keeping the fear alive.

As an early poster on here said, 'yay yet another thread about asylum seekers'.

It's just the same story over and over we all know who's going to say what, and they nearly always pick out the worst case scenario.

This ticks all the boxes, I'm sure the authorities will do the right thing, but it'll still keep the little englanders narrative ticking along.

What vested interest do people have, I wonder?

What vested interest do people have, I wonder?

Probably the vested interest that this is happening more regularly, of course some are fed up with hearing about it and would prefer it to be silenced...as in the cases in Rotherham.
The "narrative will keep ticking along" and hopefully be highlighted until it is clear that this crime is not acceptable here. It is not acceptable by the people that are born and brought up here, let alone by those that choose to come here and use the excuse that they can not be deported because of persecution in the country they left.
Straight deportation might bring it home to others that have no respect.
