When did Cotterill become such an utter ****? Both tackles were shocking, but to excuse the first, even suggesting it wasn't a booking, is just ridiculous.
Both were horrible OTT tackles.
Always had a lot of time for Cotterill, solely due to he and fellow loanee Paul Moulden brightening up the start of the 92/3(was it?) season for a dozen or so games. But his suggestion on The Football League show that Lawrence shouldn't have got a booking for his first challenge is the final straw - Lawrence was lucky not to be sent off for both tackles.
Cotterill proved what an utter c**k he is by saying the first tackle wasn't worth a booking. If anything it was worse than the second. The two challenges must amount to one of the most obvious red cards you could ever witness, yet he still disputes it. What a total tool. They have a serious discipline problem, and it's gonna cost them.
Lawrence - Dirty Fucker who knows the danger when he lunges in like a grade a c**t
or
Cotterill who could take the Wenger approach and "not see it" but chooses to admitting seeing the challenges but choosing to try and argue they were okay, not that bad, when quite clearly they were dangerous x-rated.
Well Liam, you always have been and always will be a dirty player and Steve you have turned from being a respected player and manager into a moaning prick.
Should've walked for the first, potentially a real leg breaking 'tackle'. Should've gone at Fratton Park against us as well. Just a thug, who's past his sell-by date.
I remember us play Cheltenham at Withdean back in the Championship winning season in the old Third Division, they were a bunch of cloggers as I recall. As far as Pompey are concerned, they are not a good team and they have to try and win by any means they can. Good job they aren't doing it. Here's to SCC thrashing them twice this season.
Lawrence is a knob who went to Portsmouth hoping for a swift return to the prem.....that ain't gonna happen so he tries to break people's legs in anger....knob
