And of course, what's so great about this thread is that it's 100% secure. No-one from LDC ever, ever looks at NSC to check out what Albion hoolies are planning.Tom Hark said:Yeah, mate, carry on with the letter bomb thing. Great idea

Can I throw in a word of dissent here?Tom Hark said:Turning the focus on LDC's condoning of the bonfire parades would just show them up as being backwater/backward slightly sinister creeps that they are.

Interestingly, Ann de Vecchi is already known in Lewes as a fierce opponent of bonfire. She was lampooned as an Enemy of Bonfire (alongside Norman Baker) back in the 1990s.
certainly not from the fans whose proud battle cry was once "Build a Bonfire"....Screaming J said:Surely such lampooning couldn't possibly occur again this year....could it
Yep, that sounds about right, LB. They must still be wondering where it all went wrong...Lord Bracknell said:As someone who was educated by Irish nuns... Sorry.
That's the spirit. I've still got a load of Semtex in my office I got from an Irish mate (he said they didn't need it any more in his demolition business), I was going to use it to blow up Forfars but Lord Bracknell told me not to.Billy the Fish said:Does anyone know how to make letter bombs?

So Lewes people are pro-Bonfire, like Albion fans. But their Council leaderene is anti-Bonfire?

As someone who was educated by Irish nuns, I recognise genuine anti-Catholic prejudice as a real phenomenon that is as distasteful as any other form of discrimination.
But that's not what Lewes Bonfire is about. And I speak as a member of the Cliffe Bonfire Society. Not the only one from a Catholic background, either.
Interestingly, Ann de Vecchi is already known in Lewes as a fierce opponent of bonfire. She was lampooned as an Enemy of Bonfire (alongside Norman Baker) back in the 1990s. To wade in and accuse them of being pro-bonfire would simply send out the message to people in Lewes that Albion supporters didn't understand the place.
Sorry.
