He turned 20 in FebruaryNot many sides give teenagers playing time and he will know that. The advantages we now have are that he has a chance to play regularly and knows we will not block any potential move should his ability and value continue to grow and a title winning side want to take him in a few years time.
He may get a chance at Arsenal but Man City Dias, Man Utd Martinez, Liverpool Van Dijk, Chelsea & Newcastle won't risk his inexperience & Spurs won't have European football. At 19 playing 30+ games a season is huge for his career and having a club/players/manager he enjoys being with could sway his decision.
It was clear from the Newcastle game that JPVH needs regular football (like most players). Once he’d got rid of the rust, he looked a fine player.I felt like it was a bad deal when we signed him, not to criticise the player. But because it meant that we would probably find ourselves having to plug two gaps in the squad. The first being Colwill himself if he had become a key player, which he has. The second being Jan Paul van Hecke who has had to sit and watch for a full season and won't want to find himself in the same position for next season. Hopefully his end to the season will keep JVPH keen on being a part of our journey but he's had a season with a real lack of football, despite his obvious talent and ability.
No way should be take that option. Levi on a perm plus cash for Moises, or no MoisesChelsea plot moves for Moisés Caicedo and Manuel Ugarte in midfield rebuild
Chelsea’s rebuild of their midfield will see them combine their move for Sporting Lisbon’s Manuel Ugarte with an attempt to sign Moisés Caicedowww.theguardian.com
Not sure it's been posted, but reports that they would be open to loading him to us again as part of a deal for Caicedo.

This is bullshit , we love him ,he loves us . He has 2 years left on his contract , IF he is loaned back to us he knows for fact he plays , that would leave just one year if he doesn`t sign a new contract with a club owned by a serial buyer . RDZ can and has made him better , Levi must know Chelsea are THE most transient team from top to toe and are not as reliable or trustworthy as us ?! . With us he plays for his country , with Chelsea he will be lucky to keep a place in the starting 11 .
He is a very sensible young man , if he signs a new contract with Chelsea he would have to have playing conditions included , can`t see CFC doing that . He`s just played 28 games for a team that finished 6 places above his parent club , they might own him contractually but the man is enjoying his footy and he won`t want to loose that , especially given the swing doors at SB .The only way a loan would happen would be that he signs a new contract with Chelsea before, I'd imagine
Yep this60m+ Colwill, or 100m, or jog on!
