I know it is only a few quid. But we need another 40 points before we can really celebrate anything. If we go down, yes we can say we beat Palace, but I will be mightily pissed off all the same.

If England lost to a really weak team say Scotland or Lichenstein they will enjoy the moment its a massive result, doesnt mean they would come out of it saying "uh. It doesnt mean anything until we've won the world cup. Its only 3 points". You're starting to sound almost robotic

Why am I sounding robotic?

I am enjoying the result, I have the bruises, screwed back and hangover to prove it. But it is just one result and we need a lot more this season before we have achieved anything.

But McShane is out of contract in the summer and has said he would like to stay.

.

Are you sure that he said he would like to stay permanently or was it that he said he'd like to stay here, on loan? which would keep him here for the season. Can't believe that a Reading or someone with a budget that makes ours look like petty cash wouldn't be interested at the end of hid Utd contract, assuming they don't want to keep him.

Thanks for kicking this off TLO.

I'm happy to spend a grand or so, if need be - maybe a touch more. Reluctant to spend much more as the cash is there to pay NSC's £80 a month hosting bill right now and there is no guarantee of future advertising income. (sublimal message: play poker, play poker, play poker)

Nice'n'Spicy?
I've not tasted one yet, but I wouldn't be surprised. The pungent odour is not unlike the scampy & lemon gone a bit wrong come to think of it.

A crate of champagne for the lads and whisky for MM would be a fantastic gesture, gets as loads of coverage (as Easy said) and keep the lads motivated to do it all again next month at the Withers.
Great idea

Cant see McShane signing for us, he's almost Prem quality IMO and would want to be a a bigger more stable club. Charity is a bad idea, theres the guilt factor if you give it all to one charity (why not XXX charity?) people will moan!
Option 1 for me :)
