Yup, a crate of champagne and some whisky for MAGOO, to be couriered to the training ground this week. Tell the Argus. Tell Meridien (not that they'll give a f***), tell Soccer AM.

EXCELLENT exposure, and it'll mean we'll all see The Goal again loads of times. And if it gets on Sky, it will truley sicken all Palace fans to the point where they'll probably kick their TV's in.

EVERYONES a winner

We beat Palace and we have bragging rights for the moment. But in the scheme of things it is just another 3 points in trying to stay in this division. Not sure the players have earnt the right to any reward, yet.

well its a decent gesture and a massive win, chill out a bit

But the fact is in the context of the season with have achieved much yet. Not sure people should be rewarded beyond the win bonus that they will receive.

If we and when we stay up then a gesture will be a decent thing to do. Just do not want these sort of things to come back to haunt us.

They deserve something. They gave me one of the best nights of my Albion supporting life and I would like in part to say thank you.

Doesn't have to be anything of great monetary value, just something to say thank you.

Oh bollocks.
Its a result that will always be remembered by Albion fans, regardless as to what happens for the rest of the season. Even if we end up going down, the silver lining will ALWAYS be that we beat the scum on their patch, and exorcised some demons in doing so.

Its a nice gesture and a bit of fun, thats all.

Nyah. I agree with both the above. My heart says that might be the pinnacle of all the joy this Albion squad has given me and i adore them for it. My head says they've had their win bonus and the time to thank them will be if we avoid defeat when Palarse come to Wankdean and stay up. My mind is skewed with alcohol and adrenaline.

My penis says i'm still only two and a half inches fully erect and if you don't gimme some action soon i'll shrink to the size of a twiglet.

Dont think it'll haunt us Bozza buying the lads a drink, even if we get relegated its a win worth celebrating

They get win bonuses, that is enough.

If the money can help with keeping McShane here, then that is a different matter.
It's only a few well earned drinks for the lads you cheap tit!

Oh dear, you dont seem to be enjoying your football any more Uncle Buck, almost everything you post is negative. Thats like saying you get paid at your job, thats enough, the odd appreciation/performance bonus for acheiving someething a bit special is unreasonable

And you know Fergie would almost certainly have no intention of selling McShane at this time, not for the money we have anyway, hes here for experience

I can see where you're coming from, and they do get paid more than most of us, but when you do some good work for your client which they're really pleased with, it's always nice if, as well as them settling the invoice, they give you a box of chocolates or a bottle of bubbly by way of a gesture of appreciation.

But McShane is out of contract in the summer and has said he would like to stay.

Not enjoying my football? It is more I do not often agree with the mass opinion on here.

Both the above posts ignore the fact they already get a 'bonus' for achieving something 'special' - it's called a win bonus.

That said, i wouldn't begrudge them a gesture of how sweeeeet last night was, and i do think Piers should cheer up a bit ;)
