So people are talking about him moving on. In what way is this positive. Let's not forget the good times Knight has given this club, taking us to the championship due to the structure he put in place and also the stadium, which by the way is now being built.....

He does deserve some heavy criticism yes, mindless abuse no. There are people here who call him a liar, what exactly has he lied about ?

A very good litmus test for whether he is up to the job will be what happens immediately after the final game. How long will we wait before we the managerial position is clarified? How long will we wait before we start offloading the dead-wood and getting in better players? Because if there is no news on this very early on, general unhappiness will soon turn into very serious discontent.

This is very true that people seriously over-estimate DK's authority which has clearly been diminished by Bloom's growing influence. However, ultimately, Knight is the front man. If we was the chairman of a public company that was delivering a sub-standard product, he would face the music from shareholders and the general public. As others have said, Knight must front up and explain why he thinks things have gone so very badly wrong and what he's going to do to put it right.

Fair enough, but there's a difference between criticism and abuse. Does anyone honestly think he appointed managers who he wanted to be unsuccessful, anymore than the managers themselves recommended players who, with the benefit of hindsight, have proven to be substandard?

The stadium by all accounts is going well but surely you can't expect the lack of direction at board level (note not just DK) since Mark McGhee went to go uncriticised?

Slade knows the players and their limitations and probably gives us the best chance of coming straight back up. I stand by a comment I made after the Yeovil game which is that it would be better if the players knew that it is Slade who will be determining their future in the summer.

I would hope that those that accuse him of lying would at least have the guts to do something about it.
