In the field
He is dogshit! They can have him! Not good enough for hull chasing promotion, why should we have him!

Just because clubs sign players, doesn't mean we're falling behind! We're hardly mid table are we?

This.

Even if we don't sign a striker in this window, I wouldn't say that our Play-off hopes would be out of the window.

It has to be the right signing.

yeh hes played with cms and i think they could work well 2gether

he played well with CMS and Boyd in league 1 but the 3 muskateers still went straight back down after season in championship.

as we're seeing with CMS for some the gulf in quality from league 1 to championship is to wide.

McLeans terrible championship record should be more indicative of how he would be for us than anything he once did in league 1

5ft 7" Aaron McLean.

9 in 76 for Hull...... no thanks, nothing like what we need.

We're not missing a goalscorer, we're missing a hold up player who will enable others to score goals. A Heskey type player.

this now sounds like a total friggin waste of time ..........moving on i reckon.

If you're talking about moaning about Murray (still), and moaning because things don't happen as quickly as you think they should (because you're too used to the world of Championship Manager where transfers happen as quickly as clicking a mouse button), then I agree, total friggin waste of time.

If you're talking about having some days', or a couple of weeks' patience, then you sound like a waste of time.

Who it is reported is having TRIALS with Portsmouth.

Two points there

1. Would he do as a a plan B to come on for us for the last 30 mins if needed like Phil Stant did some years ago.
2. Why should he have trials with a team like Portsmouth who know what he is or was capable of.

Seriously, do you ever say anything positive or are you the most miserable person on earth? Murray left for Palace because they offered him more. This time last year it did not seem a mistake. Maybe he would be top scorer with us or maybe Palace are playing more to his style now and he would not have been great here. Who knows? It is boring that a year and a half later people are still going on about it.

It is boring seeing the repetitively boringly moaning posts of people like the boring Withdean Wanderer and BW but I'm convinced that's because in their real lives they have only ever experienced immense success, both socially and in business. Because of their stunning eptitude they find it impossible to conceive of failure, however slight. They have succeeed with consummate ease where all others have failed. They judge others by their extreme standards and see no shades of grey; either (their) total crowning success or (others) abject failure.

Surely their sneering arrogance and complete dismissal of any view other than their own does not reveal any weakness or insecurity; no, it's an overwhelmingly majestic display of their power.

Someone best let his manager at Newcastle Jets know this as he is expecting him to play for them on Saturday!

NEWCASTLE Jets marquee Emile Heskey is recovering quickly and may be fit for Saturday's clash with the Brisbane Roar.

Heskey came off injured with a hip flexor strain midway through last week's 0-0 draw with Adelaide United and was expected to be sidelined for this Saturday's A-League match against the Roar.

But the former England international has been working hard on his rehabilitation and although he hasn't trained with the Jets group this week, he has shown that he might be fit enough to play by Saturday evening.

"We have just been doing some cross-training for him (Heskey) and we will know more tomorrow," Jets coach Gary van Egmond said at team training on Thursday.
"Emile is very keen to be a part of it and we are pretty confident he will be for this weekend."

Perhaps the report of him having trials at Pompey are not true but the report said it was due to his Aussie club having financial problems and him not being paid.

I think it's worth remembering the Spanish press is even less trustworthy then our press. So I would take anything said with a pinch of salt until what's done is done.

This is Granada's Local Rag.

Ulloa, slo a tocateja

The interest of Granada CF striker Leo Ulloa has not yet been transferred to a deal with his current team, the UD Almería. This was confirmed by sporting director set Almeria, Alberto Benito, who made it clear that no one yesterday granadinista club has been in touch with them to discuss the transfer of the player. Everything can be a matter of hours. For now, as noted in yesterday's edition the newspaper As there seems to be an agreement of Granada with Ulloa. So everything would be pending negotiations between the two entities. The agreement will not be easy. Almeria president Alfonso Garcia, said that will only leave the player in exchange for hard cash.

The club has priced the player at a figure that would be between two million and a half to three million euros and you pay will be the one to take the upper hand. The manager says he set Almeria earlier chastened with transfers in which several players left the institution without seeing it 'hard'.

This is the case of Kalu Uche Ikechukwu Uche-brother, who played last season on loan at Granada CF-which after being in Almeria for five seasons, between 2005 and 2011, he transferred to Swiss Neuchatel then trained Joaquin Caparrós and ultimately did not meet Agree on how to pay a transfer amount of which amounted to a million and a half euros.

Alfonso Garcia also remembered that something similar happened with the now granadinista Juanma Ortiz when he signed for Scottish Ranger at the end of the 2010-11 season. Currently, according to Almeria, Brighton only team that plays in the English second division, has shown its willingness to pay what is asked. The problem lies in the club only if he would sign Ulloa EU passport. The player has long requested, but surely not have the right papers before the end of the month.

Moreover, the rights of Ulloa not correspond entirely to the UD Almería, which has 50 percent of its' property '. The other half is a former executive of the company, 40 percent, and soccer players, 10 percent. Therefore, if an agreement was reached for two and a half million, the Andalusian club would receive only half the amount, ie EUR 1,250,000. therefore in principle rule out any option Almería cheapen the transfer of Ulloa the transfer by the Granada, of any player.

What i make of it is Granada cant afford the price Almeria wants but we can.

You aint wrong Frutos, Ees complicated.
