Various back and forth debate, reports and tweets saying that its close, or not close, or will happen or won't happen.

Current consensus is that it will happen pending his work permit going through, and he has been left out of Almeria's squad this week (in which he was expected to be included) so that may suggest something. Or not.

Naylor knows jackshit anyway, it's not a coincidence he's in the latter stages of his career yet still writing for a 60p local bog-standard paper which no-one reads.

Tomorrow, Monday, is a public holiday in most parts of Spain, so I wouldn't expect any passport news too quickly!

Andy Naylor's a good journalist who's always done a decent job. It's become almost a ritual on NSC to deride him and his works, god knows why. He's not perfect but he seems pretty straight and pretty committed to his job.

We won't be signing him. It already feels like to much of a headache as it is with us trying to sign him and all this red tape bullshit then it's time to move on. Let it go.
