So he will either be a better, Argie CMS or a shitter CMS for basically more money - I can take that.
This move failing could backfire massively on Gus, on paper he can deliver - whether he does or not is anyone's guess.

IF we sign this guy, I think it is safe to say this is Poyet's biggest signing on many levels.
1- A large outlay
2- Needs to score goals/assist.
3- No injury record (as in with Vicente)
4- If he fails, then I think it's fair for everyone to agree that Poyet, couldn't spot a striker in a box of matches( fair enough

Agree with that, I also agree with your opinion of it swinging either way massively, and not taking a middle ground. Could be a massive flop, scoring only 4 goals next season before being shipped out, or could be a huge success, Lambert-esk type player that gets us to the play-offs and then is poached by a La Liga side. For some reason I can't imagine him in the Premier League but I've never seen him play so what do I know.
