One of his best ever goals for us must have been at Brammall Lane back in 2005 , at 1-1 we all felt it was a well deserved point away from home. Last minute of injury time and Paul Reid lays on an inch perfect diagonal pass for Leon Knight to run onto who fired his shot past Paddy Kenny. We all went f***ing mental in the away end. Gary Hart also had a decent game that afternoon.

How relevant is the fact that he was an obnoxious, self-serving, indolent little skidmark?

He would have to have been better than Messi to carry that stinking attitude around with him.

If he was half as good as he thought he was he would have been half decent.

Whatever he may or may not have been I don't think that either BZ or Wardy get as much NSC air time as Mr Knight !

The PFA should make a documentary of Knight's fall from grace and show it to every teenager that turns pro, just so they get a warning that the grass isn't always greener.

I was there for that! Marvellous scenes!

For the first goal I seem to remember Hart and Chippy breaking away from the half way line with some incisive counter-attacking play. Then they scored via a Mayo own goal.

To win it in the last minute was the best feeling ever!

iirc, knight fell over near the advertising hoardings just after scoring that winner as well

Also, does anyone remember his goal at R&D when he blazed into the box and smashed it past the keeper at his near post? That's another personal favourite!

Just a shame what has become of the jumped up little sh*t

Someone needs to facebook him on behalf of all Brighton fans and tell him to sort himself out

:

That was the game when recently on loan Zesh Rehman looked like he might turn into an amazing player with a great goal from distance? We looked good that night.

The goal against Sheffield Utd....great goal as it was...I am pretty sure that Mark Mclump ran over to congratulate him and fell over the advertising hoardings?

Or is my mind playing tricks on me?:amex:

nah it was definitely Knight. check out the goal on this video at about 2 minutes in (don't know why the frame rate on the video is so crap). What a ball from Reid! Wish I could see the first goal again too.
