I keep seeing this. Please will club Stato put this in to perspective.
Just how many games did Leon play for Coppell and HOW MANY TIMES DID COPPELL SUB HIM?

Maybe, it wasn't that Coppell could "handle" him but maybe "Copell let him have his own way - BIG DIFFERENCE.

Anyway, if Stato comes up with the evidence that says I'm talking bollocks, I'll retract and apologise ... (perhaps Leon needs to learn to do likewise)

How is leon Knight a legend? He humilated Mcghee in front of all the fans, any boss would react the same. Who is he to decide who comes on or off, we may have our views about the substitution, but McGhee might have wanted to leave a taller player upfront instead of 2 shortarses - Knight wasnt playing that well, were you even at the game Richie? Can you imagine Ferguson or Mourinho accepting that from Rooney or Drogba? Leon has to swallow his pride and get on with it, weve all been there, or he should f*** off to Reading if Coppell loves him so much (yeah right).

Either way, what harm did it do? Coppell took us to the top of the table, and Knight was banging in goals all over the place - 12, I believe, by early October. Some players do need special treatment, that's management - and it seems SC was especially good at it.
