Bolton manager Neil Lennon has been charged with misconduct after accusing referee Darren Drysdale of bias in Saturday's Championship defeat at QPR.
A 94th-minute goal from Jay Emmanuel-Thomas secured a 4-3 win for QPR that left Bolton in the relegation zone.
"I've never seen a more biased performance from a referee in a long time. He gave QPR everything he possibly could, I was so frustrated with that."" said Lennon, 44. "Any 50/50 challenges, it looked at times the free-kick was going to go to us, he invented a free-kick for QPR.
"It was a really frustrating performance from him from my point of view."
Lennon has until 18:00 BST on Thursday to respond to the charge.
The Football Association charge alleges that Lennon's comments "allege or implied bias" on Drysdale "and/or bring the game into disrepute".
On Monday, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was charged with the same offence after claiming officials were "afraid" to give decisions in favour of his side.
'Never seen a more biased performance from a referee in a long time.'...since 26th September!
I'll tell you what's frustrating - managers who bemoan a poor referee performance, when their shirt-pulling, shin-kicking,vile side cheat and exploit shit refs as much as possible, ruining a game of football. Disgusting.
