This would be a bad advert for League Two football. Never mind the best league in the world.

The implication is the Chinese guy who bought the club for £210m immediately transferred the loan to the club, similar to what the Glazers did with Man Utd. The bank that fronted the loan will take future premier league money till repaid.

No idea if any of that is true. 2nd comment under this article.

It was simply gossip by a couple of fans with no knowledge of big business, who were put straight by those who were.

Gao paid the Liebherr's £200m for an 80% stake, by setting up a new company and borrowing either from another of his companies and/or banks. That's a completely normal way businesses are acquired.

Glazer's are controversial because they've charged the football club subsidiary of ManU £100m's in interest, which arrogant ManU fans state should instead been spent on new players over their tenure. Envious of the ManC and Chelsea models of a cash rich sugar daddy buying the club with cash and investing over a £B each on covering transfers/wages they otherwise couldn't have afforded.

Why couldn't we have played this Leicester?

I agree, but after the Leicester game on NSC loads of posters told me most emphatically that we'd outclassed them from start to finish, with Murray ruining it. I thought they were dangerous throughout, with quality players such as Iborra and Maguire.
