Can anyone with a knowledge of Southampton FC can you explain where their debt has come from?
I've been reading the numerous readers comments on the Southampton Echo and they refer several times to having a debt of £210 million.
How on earth can they be in that much sh*t after selling all their best players in recent seasons?

I find that incredibly hard to believe.

Their 30 June 17 group and company accounts reveal just £27m in long term creditor loans, with £41m cash sitting in the bank, and since then they've sold VVD for £75m.

So how does this add up? The BBC page has a 1-1 draw as the most probable result, but at the same time lists the probability of a draw as the least likely outcome...
