We've won 5 games all calendar year. Just 'moving on' to the next game after a particularly poor performance hasn't really been working, has it?

So far this season, we've not lost to any team currently in the bottom half - drawing 2 and winning 2 of those matches. We don't even have to get into the dodgy calls that have cost us in some of the other games to see there's plenty of reason to believe the team can climb the table.

We didn't press enough to try to get the ball in the second half... very disappointing, not enough leadership visible on the pitch

Quite a few players off form, Dunk hasn’t been at the races this season, when was the last time we saw Ryan pull off a couple of unlikely saves giving us a win, Burn/Webster/Maupay nuff said.

Three are huge problems at the club. Let’s see if Graham and Dan can earn their money and fix then.

Had 3-0 on the predictor thread, expected us to be comfortably beaten and fluff the odd decent chance.

Predictable but still disappointing.

If we get nothing from the next 2 games you'll find me in the Potter out threads. ... Actually, less than 4 Points might be enough to push me over the edge.

Would 5 points leave you content?

Getting beaten is not the issue I would hazard a guess most were expecting that, its the way we played and sad to say the way we didn't react to going 1-0, then 2-0. Its as though the manager had told them to take it easy.

We are far too slow in the build up and think Gross is key contributor. What I liked about an Burn last year was his raw approach to the game and the energy he brought in, he now thinks he is a footballer and again bringing the ball back when it was easier to go forward. Need to see more of the Dunk long range passes there was a cracking one but he rarely does that now.

If you play Connolly and/or Maupay you need to play it quick to feed or into space we just didn't do it.

Bissouma is streets ahead of all of those that played tonight.

At the end it did look like we had started to get some movement and pace going forward , I don't think it was just Leicester backing off we looked to be trying.

“No energy, no desire, no urgency”.... is the view from the experts. Not heard those sort of comments directed at a Brighton team for a long time. We embarrassed ourselves tonight

I like your optimism. I hope you're right!

We have to be honest - that was woeful. IF the excuse is that they're saving themselves for the next two games then we can expect nothing less than 6 points.

Less than 3 points will push me in that direction....no, wait, I really don't believe in breaking contracts...Potter and Bloom need to honour the contract

How soon is now?
We were poor, but what bothers me more is that we don’t seem to cope with the conditions. The pitch was slippery and it was a raining hard, other teams cope but couldn’t/don’t. I didn’t expect us to win, but I expected a contest. What happened to the team that beat Newcastle, at least the game plan and tactics should be consistent?
