Quick browse on Foxes Talk suggests the Lesta fans aren't a happy bunch. They were pretty shocking though to be fair considering their position and having Europe to play for

Let me guess - they should be beating teams like Brighton?

Suddenly it all looks like its coming together. We have successfully integrated a number of good young players into the squad and the summer should see 2 or 3 more coming into play. Results have been getting better and I think we are only a couple of players from being a very good side...

To get a performance like that out of such a young side bodes well for the future

The break has come at the perfect time for us ad GPot has take full advantage.
He is a very astute manager. Big gambles taken o the starting line-up but he called it perfectly.

The future looks bright.

He's fast become a very importnat player, but so have others . . . . . Or, what we're starting to see ( I hope) is the fruition of Potterball .. . . New players integrating with existing old and new players . . .we have a squad . . . I quite like that we don't have a guaranteed 1st team, and that predictability, but a 20+ squad you can pick a competitive team of almost any formation/style from.

After the last 2 games I almost expect to see something different against Manure . . . Give Ole a headache. Can't wait

From a squad 18 months ago that had gaping deficiencies and a lack of pace, we’re beginning to look the PL real deal.

Rather than needing 4 or 5 signings this summer, just another striker and a midfielder who can score (possibly to give width down the left) would be my initial hopes.

Solid point

Good to see Potter rotating, Lamptey has done enough to show Potter he fits in and can be trusted (No.2 is justified)

Week to rest the whole squad

No injuries

Man Utd playing twice before they play us

Pressure is on all those below us now

Not a bad couple of days

and no card for dunk; tad concerned about webbo tho'

To be fair, only 1 comment said something like 'Brighton are poor which shows more about us than them' the rest just pissed off at how shit they've seemingly been since Christmas. One dimensional, starting to question Rodgers' tactics, etc

Great point, on reflection.

But it should have been 3, poor pen miss by Maupay

Potter, so frustrating got it right pre-kick off, then makes wholesale changes when we were clearly on top and the better side, lightweight and weak after the subs in my opinion, Propper just not at the races.

Lamptey MOM, looks a star in the making..

Slightly disagree. We actually looked very good just after the subs were made, but Leicester made a triple change themselves and it completely turned the game, they essentially changed to their best 11 in their best formation. We did very well to survive without conceding any chances.

To be fair the subs I don’t think were by choice .... Maupay and Biss both looked dead on their feet. Plus I think it was the changes Leicester made that took the game away from us with Barnes, Tielemans and Perez coming on.

Think he ran out of steam but was really good in the first half.
Going to be a good player for us.
Trossard was weak on the ball by comparison and Stephens was poor. Kept giving the ball away( one timing forcing Duffy to make a yellow card tackle) and gives away too many free kicks.
Maupay and Connolly were really good first half but neither have any chances against the likes of Evans with high balls pumped out of defence which we were forced to do a lot in the last 30 minutes.

Agree with you on Mac, Maupay and Connolly.

I wasn't impressed with Trossard against Famblud but I thought he did well tonight when he came on.

Slightly agree, Biss is a problem for us, he cannot see a game out, cramp and tiredness on numerous occasions

We were fantastic until Bissouma went off. Understandably he was shattered so had to go off but it’s no coincidence our performance tailed off a bit when he went off.

Fast becoming our most important player.

Biss was fantastic against Wolves and Arse but I thought he was quiet tonight. I agree with you that he was tired. I think we needed those subs as we were starting to lag.

Hilarious NSC that miserable idiots are trying to find things to moan about after that performance and result.

Brilliant first half from the Albion.

Never going to get it all your own way at somewhere like Leicester. Our triple substitution stemmed the tide for a bit and meant we were only really under the cosh for the last few minutes - which we held out very well.

Love this new look young Albion side.
