There has been keen interest in Brighton striker Leonardo Ulloa, with City tabling a substantial bid for the Argentinean, understood to be more than the £3million previously reported.

However, City's offer was rejected by the Seagulls, who are asking nearer to the £10m mark for the 27-year-old striker, who scored twice in their 4-1 victory at the King Power Stadium in April.

I read that as asking if we had 99% of our signings lined up, rather than asking if we pocketed the cash. The way you worded it seemed a little ambiguous, as if you were revealing inside info about the club having all but signed a bunch of new players, though I suspect it was more the approach you'd love the club to take.

Even without selling Ulloa there would still be scope to bring Murray (or Zamora) back, as long as their salary demands aren't excessive.
