They won't get a points deduction for the pitch invasion. I think the outcome of that will prove quite funny, reading the boards the suspicion is that one or two fans thought the final whistle had gone - and the rest followed them.

According to Bates they are still paying off ex-players but that ends in the summer.

there was an artivle in the times a while ago called 'the fall of leeds united' as a subheader, as away trips to gillingham loom' - have tried to find it on the web but cant,

basically it goes into how players such as ferdinand and a guy who made 15 appearances in the premership are still on their books

Yes we did. [albit a suspended one]

Which is not quite the same. It could be argued that their are similarities in the circumstances though. It should be remembered that Archer and Co took over large debts created by previous administations. Not slightly caused by us paying 1st Division wages in Division 2.

we were told that at the end of this season £8m will come off the wage bill. However, there are all other loans apparently that need to be paid off that we've not been told about and only coming to light now.

But we were docked points in the end.

had we not been, there would have been no Hereford.

Yes but there was more than one pitch invasion, whatever the justification.

With 'Master' Bates at the helm and you expected the truth ?

tbh no one else was coming in to save us at the time, so better the devil you know I suppose.

Will be a very interesting summer to say the least.

so the fact that they allegedly pushed over Ipswich players and headed towards the Ipswich fans whilst others pelted the Ipswich fans with coins etc was ok then.

I was listening to 606 in the car on the way home from the Albion game and a woman from Ipswich rang in to say that she sympathised with the decent Leeds fans, despite the fact that she had walked her family back to their car in tears after her 6 year old daughter had been hit with a coin, and her husband struck with a missile during the trouble.

She is a lot more forgiving than I would be. If that had been my kids, I would have been trying to get onto the pitch to fight every last one of the scum. I appreciate that this does not make me a good person, but thats how it would have been.

I salute you, Ipswich lady.

tbh, watching those buffoons made me embarrassed that I follow the same club.

Some idiot was mimicing scoring a goal in front of the kop. My gf had to stop me as I was threatening to go down and smack him one.

Not sure how true this is Robbie - but I heard that as some of the miscreants climbed back into the stands they got a shoeing from those who had stayed put....

Please say it was so!

Leeds are going to admin but still managed to sign a number of players this year?

They are playing the system. Now the stadium is not attached to the club, they haven't got a great deal to lose from going into Admin. Bates is playing this current situation very well, even if relegation wasn't the plan (obviously).

http://www.soccerbase.com/transfers_by_team.sd?teamid=1524

Although they did make about £3m through transfers, I would imagine they were paying a proportion of the loanees wages - they can't have been cheap.
