The controversial Italian may have given floods-ravaged Somerset a swerve on Saturday but he is coming in from Miami for the big one. Maybe he's heard about the famous hospitality for visiting directors...

Anyway, having reportedly got a lawyer to try and fire McDermott illegally his ownership is now subject to Football League ratification on Wednesday (they will, almost certainly rubber-stamp it).

And McDermott is left a good bloke and manager who has emerged with a lot of credit from the whole fiasco but still looks like a dead man walking, they are due to have talks either after the match or later in the week.

Guitar-playing, ageing, leather jacket, goatee...anyone thinking what I'm thinking...

I can't see the connection with the leather jacket, but something about people leaving early, one assumes? :moo:

"He went home to get it"

'I said "Why the tears?", he says "Cause none of them was you"'

"What, you?"

"No, not me, he's looking at a picture of his..."

"Sorry, it just sounded a bit gay"

"He's not gay"

Probably could have added 'unique management style' among the clues...

Paolo Di Canio's dad.

I was thinking more "Calderon's Dad":

A little while later, see a senorita,
She’s caught a flat trying to make it home,
She says "Por favor, can you pump me up?"
I say "Muchos gracias, adios. Bye Bye, We Are Leeds."
