[Leeds' chairman Ken Bates has been working hard to attract new investment to the club, but has so far had little success.
[/B]

Only a fool would give that twat their money to invest and people with money aren't generally fools :lolol:

Bates is a wanker, I've got no problem with Leeds normally but they deserve all they get for allowing that prick a way back into the game

Will be rather annoying if they have been able to bend the rules, but i still feel that they won't bounce straight back up

Spot on. A disgraceful abuse of a very poor system.
They are just doing the best thing for themselves, it is wrong and it is a poor system but you can't blame them. Any club would do it in the situation.

Bunch of kids from your academy and some terrible loan signings from the likes of Boston (if they go down) I should think.

True, but useing past experiances of clubs that have been succesful in the past they have found it hard to go straight back up. It took Sheffield Wednesday 2 seasons. And Forest are in there second season in the third tier

Without sounding arrogant, we are biggest club to hit league 1 in years, im sure we could get some out of contract League 1 and Championship players.

In terms of how quickly you have dropped then yes id agree, as the media spotlight will be even grater than Sheffield Wednesday and Forest when your first defeat to a regarded small team.

But i would still put you in the same brackets as them teams rather than Swindon, Bradford and Oldham who not that long ago where in the top flight in the 90's

I was worried for you (well, I say worried, I actually mean laughing hysterically) when you signed a league two striker on loan who couldn't cut it at Barnet. Now, a league lower and in administration.. hmm.

We've got a talented youngster called Doug Loft you might like.. :jester:

The biggest crime is that it means that honest people who are owed money by the club won't get paid.

Why isn't there a law that stops Bates buying the club back?

He's just like the Majeeds on a bigger scale.

I was ignoring that fact.

The rules need to be in place to protect the smaller clubs that face financial hardship, but punish those who have spent outlandishly, although that is an idealistic view obviously.

Just read about Leeds going into administration on Ceefax, according to that the 10 point deduction could be applied next season as Leeds are effectively down already.
