It's nothing to do with the FA is it? It's the Football League.

Likewise wasn't West Ham nothing to do with the FA but the Premier League?

West Ham also broke the rules in the FA cup.

got to feel sorry for the fans that 3 years ago bought the 20 year season ticket at £4000

Yorkie (I think) the "FA Cup" rule West Ham pontentially broke is that the player was not registered correctly in the league they play.

Which is the Premier League which abides by the rules of the er... FA.

Search on the FA site for "Chicken and Egg" and you'll find the clause.

I meant in that it was a Premier League (not FA) imposed penalty, as it was a Football League (not FA) penalty for Leeds.

Well, the FA (in their "CUP" hats) said they would start THEIR investigation as soon as the Premier League one had finished.

Just to remind them, I sent them an email yesterday.

Spot on - can't believe that the League didn't write such a clause in.

Oh hang on this is the (sweet) FA we are talking about.

Don't blame Leeds for using the rules to their advantage.

I just feel sorry for the people they owe money to (apart from the ex players who have enough anyway.)

Can't wait to see that little piece of shit Wise at Withdean next Season.

Why? It's an absolute bargain.

Ten years free football.

The problem is what if a team gets relegated a lot earlier?

Its not a perfect system but it cant be.

I get the feeling that because its Leeds most are making a fuss about it, would it be the same if it was a "smaller" club?

Worthing
The radio were say that the takeover by Bates ''other'' company was a pre-proposed deal orchestrated by the administrators. There is talk that there are more than one interested parties who would have liked to have talked to the administrators to maybe launch a bid themselves but to have done this would have taken a little time. So the takeover has been rushed through so there was not the 10 pt carry over to next season. Obviously legal but it stinks in my opinion.

Could another company have been prepared to pay more to the creditors or am I being naive here ?

Does anyone remember Bates and the electric fence at Stamford Bridge that he put up. I don`t like him.

that's me mate. and if the club is still going i will take my % of the pound on the chin. and believe me, it's not going to be anywhere near 20p that was dished out in the past.

been offered a penny for every pound. roll on june 1st when we can vote.

several 'interested' parties now questions. one of whom i think might sneak in through the back door depending on the vote. bates needs 75% of the value vote and his creditors are close to that but don't quite reach it.
