I did not spot any other Brighton fans when I went to a 3-2 defeat to West Ham U21 at the Rush Green Stadium on the 27th February 2023. So that possibly 1.

We used to blag a lift on the team coach occasionally 'up north' in those days, e.g Queens Hotel in Manchester to Oldham. Archie Macaulay used to pass the decision of giving us a lift to the travelling director, Len Stringer. The transport they hired at Barrow to get to the train station was a normal corporation single-decker bus!

Was that the replayed game after one was abandoned a few weeks earlier due to heavy rain ? There were more of us there - but fairly incognito!
I now officially feel like a bad fan as those were the only two games I missed that season

Probably the game where on the radio on the way back, on what was a Champion’s League evening, the pundit said “to the 1200 (?) Brighton fans who went to the Priestfield tonight I have a question - Why?”
Cannot tell you how much that pissed me off and if I hadn’t been driving I’d have phoned up and had a rant

I was anticipating something similar at the business end of 16/17 and my results prediction had us getting promoted due to Huddersfield dropping points at a mid-week game at Wolves (with us not playing). I'd even made tentative plans to travel down with a Wolves supporting work colleague - I can't believe I'd have been the only BHA fan there if it had come to that.I think I was the only Albion fan at a game where we got promoted if that counts!

Never really been in a sub 200 crowd though. Even the away games in places like Darlo or Carlisle when we were at the wrong end of the 4th tier seemed to always get a few hundred harcore fans.

Two spring to mind. Fulham away in the Autoglass Trophy, early 1990s. Got absolutely battered. Just checked and the full attendance was 1,135 and couldn't have been more than 50 away fans. For a league match, Torquay away on New Year's Day in the great escape season. Maybe 200 away fans. Was also the coldest I've ever been at an away game. Was so cold in fact the stewards moved us off the small open terrace and into the main stand.
I recall they thought there was going to be around 2000 of us up there

Not Albion related.....5 which was the 5 of us.
Went to Rayo Vallecano V Lorca in La Liga 2. We were in Madrid to go and see Atletico on Sunday but we clocked Vallecano were at home on the Saturday so we popped along. Went to buy tickets in the end behind the goal with the Vallecano ultras in and it was sold out. So we asked about the away end. They said they had sold 0 tickets. So we went and became the away support.
Turns out Lorca are a very small team from the Murcia region. They had only been an entity for less than 20 years. A businessman had bought them and pumped some money in and managed to get them through the leagues all the way to the second tier. At which point he tried to sell the club and refused to put any more money in. When a buyer never materialised the club basically made up the numbers every season and dropped like a stone until they were eventually wound up. They lost this game 6 nil I think.
Vallecano on the other hand have gone the other way and have challenged for european spots in recent years.
Albion related probably one of the pre season tours to Ireland.

Hull away in the what must have been mid 60s -they were on a good run and I think the crowd was about 25,000 -there were about 15 of us, as I recall. Needless to say -we lost!
