Apparently reported he went by Eurostar , and if it was for his wife the club would a) not have helped in any possible way they could b) make an announcement as to show support and understanding of the situation and c) he is reported back today , apparently in normal mode , as apposed to panic over his wife and baby .

Sure, but that's got nothing to do with it. He'd be happy if he was released on a free, but throwing a strop because we haven't released him on a free would be weird. I know the FDM was in post when both Mark McCammon had the long walk home from Burnley and when little Leon was turned off the coach in the New Forest for questioning team selection on the way to St Mary’s.
