not sure what to make of notts county - they were floundering a bit until cotteril came in and took them on that fantastic run that fired them up the table, but obviously now he has gone

swindon you would think had a one-off season owing largely to paynter and austin, although people said that the previous season about millwall and were proved totally wrong

it certainly doesnt look as tough as it has done in the previous two seasons, and before that we nearly sneaked a play-off spot with a very average squad

I am certainly not expecting "an easy league" and anyone who does is probably going to be the ones who come October are calling for Gus to be sacked as we are only 10th in the league

i dont think it is easy - its just not as tough as it has been the past two seasons. i still think we will do well to make the top 10 though

I think it will be very hard to finish above Huddersfield Town or Southampton, but I'll be surprised if B&HA don't end the season in the top six; and I wouldn't be astonished if Gus Poyet led The Seagulls to promotion in May, 2011.

Tbf Millwall were reasonably wealthy for league 1 and were one of the higher wage spenders and were always going to be up there. But as long as Swindon don't sell Austin I think they'll be up there with us, Huddersfield, Peterborough, Sheff W, Southampton. But I also think Brentford will do well.

Meopham, Kent.
Obviously won't be as tough as the Micky Adams season, that year the division was the toughest ever, eh?

id say the toughest ever MUST have been the seasons in which THE leeds united couldn't get promoted

I reckon top 6 will be something like:

1st. Southampton
2nd. Sheffield Wednesday

3rd. Plymouth
4th. Brighton
5th. Huddersfield
6th. Peterborough

Plymouth in the Play off final!

Please let Peterborough be 5th, that terrace would be PACKED and we'd be the last fans to ever stand on it.
