Please let Peterborough be 5th, that terrace would be PACKED and we'd be the last fans to ever stand on it.

Last away game is Notts county.

*unless I have missed something with your post

If our Home Form is sorted, we will IMO go up!

Its the Home Games that worry me!

I'm optimistic. Poyet will get his side to pass it, Pardew and the rest of the english third division managers, will if true to english third division managers form wil get their players to hoof it. Saints may have a bigger budget, or maybe they dont, who knows? But look who is spending their budget and how they will be expected to play football. Pass the ball to players in the same shirt and then move into space to give the player with the ball an option in this division and half the teams will think we are cheating

On paper last season Southampton had a better side then ours and we still outplayed them home and away.

Probably too early to say though?

Charlton, with no money, having released half their players in 3rd? While no Peterborough in the top 6?
Im suprised how many people think Peterborough will fail next season, they will imo be pushing for the top 2 all the way. Boyd, Maclean and Mackail Smith will easily get 40 or 50 goals alone, plus reports have it they're on the verge of breaking their transfer record on a new striker. Mccann on the other wing is a cracking signing, and Joe Lewis in goal is very solid.

Southampton
Peterborough
----------------
Huddersfield
Sheffield Wednesday
Swindon
Us (Presuming we bring in a 15/20 goal striker, as well as another as Barnes or another) If not Brentford or Charlton.

Why have people discarded Notts County as they have just signed Ben Burgess to partner Lee Hughes and if you score a lot of goals you can carry a slightly dodgy defence so they should do quite well.

I reckon top 6 will be something like:

1st. Southampton
2nd. Sheffield Wednesday

3rd. Plymouth
4th. Brighton
5th. Huddersfield
6th. Peterborough

Plymouth in the Play off final!

Not with our current strike force only 1 can score .... where are the goals coming from to finish 4th ??? Mid table at best simply because we will not score anywhere near enough goals as the squad stands at the moment

I don't expect Notts Co. to challenge next season. They still have a huge debt and could yet sell Hughes before the transfer window closes. Cotterill has gone, and in Craig Short they have a manager who is an unknown quantity. I'd expect most Notts supporters to be more than satisfied with a mid-table finish come May.
I'll be surprised if Posh challenge for automatic promotion either. For me, B&HA are the team most likely to compete with Huddersfield and Southampton for the top two.
